Night had fallen.
After spending the entire day searching for something elusive, they decided to buy a boat. Where did they get the money?
Simple—Julia had stolen it from Stella, taking half of her treasure.
For what purpose?
No one knew.
Now, somewhere on the west side of the island, hidden but still connected to the ocean, their plans were in motion.
Kai sat in the boat, drinking. "What's taking them so long?" he wondered aloud.
Meanwhile, in the Village
Elijah stood atop a tree, glaring into the vast forest below.
"That woman and her obsessive craving for treasure," he cursed, sighing in frustration.
"How am I supposed to find something that others have searched for years without success?" Confusion clouded his mind as he struggled to decide his next move.
Stella's Manor
Adan and Julia stood before Stella's manor, making final preparations to leave.
They weren't planning to join Elijah's group—they had their own Ship ready, hidden on the east side.
They had also built a tunnel underground long ago, just in case.
Julia was there to ensure no one from the Ship would follow them.
Adan, on the other hand, wanted to make sure Stella would be safe. "What do you think about the spy in her group?" he asked.
"I already warned her. Whether she takes it seriously is up to her," Julia replied. Sensing something, she ordered,
"Let's move." Both figures vanished from the tree.
Julia moved swiftly, so fast that Adan couldn't keep up. When light crackled around her, she disappeared completely from his sight.
Underground
The ground rumbled as a tunnel opened, revealing three figures standing in front of them, all dressed in black.
One was a woman holding a long sword.
The tunnel was 100 meters long and wide, with a group of 20 people led by Levi standing at the center, guarding Stella.
Levi eyed the newcomers warily. "Who are you?" he demanded, sensing the aura of three King Tiers—one woman at the peak and two men at the beginning stages.
This meant one was E+ and the other two were E-.
The woman, with long orange hair and matching eyes, smiled coldly.
"I'm the Second Vice-Captain, Faith. Welcome to your death." She moved gracefully, her posture highlighting her confidence.
'So, Julia was right,' Levi thought. 'There's a spy in our group, or they wouldn't have known about our escape.'
Levi sighed, then gave a slight nod to the peak Advance Tier standing beside Stella, a signal only he noticed.
"Fall back," he ordered quietly.
The two men beside Faith moved to block their retreat as Levi lunged at her.
His arm transformed into iron.
BOOM
The ground cracked as Faith blocked his attack with her sword.
"Nice try, but that won't work," she taunted, effortlessly slicing through the large iron spear on her side.
It was clear she had reached the expert level in swordsmanship.
But Levi merely smiled. In that brief distraction, Stella and the man carrying her had already dashed through the tunnel.
