Chapter 78: Attack (2)

A massive iron spike hurtled from the sky, descending with a force that few could match.

Zen smirked as he watched it fall through the night sky. With a flick of his wrist, a spear materialized in his hand.

He thrust it forward, striking the 20-meter spike, unleashing a shockwave that burst in all directions.

The shockwave obliterated the ground and shattered the surrounding landscape. The earth cracked beneath Zen's feet as the iron spike was destroyed.

But Levi stood behind him, fist clenched, covered in his iron element. Zen caught sight of him from the corner of his eye, his smirk still firmly in place.

BOOM!

Zen was blasted backward—it was Levi's punch. He crashed through trees and rocks before digging his feet into the ground to regain his balance.

Breathing heavily, he looked up at Zen, who calmly walked toward him, as if he wasn't in the middle of a battle. A wave of dread washed over Levi with each step Zen took.

"I'm having fun playing with you," Zen said casually. "But can you please stop trembling, or I'll kill you? I don't like cowards."

Levi's hand trembled uncontrollably, his thoughts racing. It's all because you damaged my hand, he cursed silently.

Stretching his hand, he prepared for another round, but Zen only smiled wider. In an instant, Zen appeared before him, his hand still gripping the spear.

"You have power, but it's not enough," Zen whispered into Levi's ear, his voice cold and certain.

Levi barely had time to react as he summoned an iron avatar around himself, hoping to block the impending attack.

BBBBOOOMMM!

In the town, Julia dodged attacks from several enemies surrounding her. With her staff in hand, she moved swiftly.

A woman lunged at her, but Julia deflected the blow and used her wind element to push herself away.

Above, storm clouds began to gather, charged with power. Even those not sensitive to mana felt it.

The energy was similar to the one she used underground, but this time it was more controlled. She was fighting a few advanced and intermediate tiers, after all.

Raising her staff, Julia slammed it into the ground. "Tornado!" she shouted.

The winds responded immediately, swirling with the clouds at their center. A small but powerful tornado formed, pushing her enemies back and creating a safe zone for her.
