Ch 107: Pope's little brother!

The Pope's parents, still very much alive, had a second son in their later years following a romantic whim.

They named him Nadir.

Nadir was 25 years younger than the Pope and he was nurtured with abundant love and care by his entire family.

The Pope was a man of God. He harbored no resentment towards the arrival of a sibling in his parents' old age. Instead, he embraced Nadir's birth, taking on the role of a guardian in place of his elderly parents who were too old to look after a child, treating Nafir with all the affection as if he were his own child, and imparting the wisdom and morals of life.

He showed immense patience towards Nadir, though he could be strict when necessary. Nadir, for his part, never resented being disciplined by his elder brother. Despite his young age, he was remarkably perceptive and understood that his brother's admonishments were meant for his betterment.

He was deeply attached to his elder brother.
