Synopsis

When her husband’s boss suddenly offered her a job. She grabbed the opportunity to prove her husband wrong. What she hadn't anticipated was the kindness her boss had begun to shower on her. 
Zyair Kincaid; the CEO of renowned fashion company was a gynophobe who never hired women to work in his proximity. But he broke his own rules and hired Skyla to be his personal secretary. 
With his identity hidden from the world, behind a black mask, he was a man of many secrets but had only one goal. To liberate Skyla from her abusive husband and for that, he was willing to go to any length. 
In a tale where past and present collided, two broken souls sought comfort with each other. But can Skyla escape her husband? And how would Zyair grapple when his dark past comes knocking?

The trio left B & J's with satisfaction brimming within them. It had been a fruitful day and somehow they were more satisfied with their decision. The night was almost falling when they left.

"I think this was a blessing in disguise, the vibes were rocking in this company," Lawrence seemed excited with the prospect.

"I agree completely and now I can't wait for tomorrow," Skyla answered, rubbing her hands together. She would finally get to attend a comic con after a long while.

"Which character have you chosen to cosplay, Miss Skyla?" Lawrence asked excitedly, brimming to talk about his own.

"It's a surprise," she winked at him and flashed a smile to Zyair who was casting this eager look her way. Outside he appeared calm like a lake while his insides were knotted in curiosity at what she would be wearing.

"How about you Mr Zyair?" Skyla asked with an equal amount of keenness and fascination.
