Completely Carefree

Sophia couldn't think of a time when she had ever been so carefree. Work was frustrating at times, the omega aspect of her life was hard to adjust to, and even when she had the bakery, she didn't have many days without feeling overwhelmed.

It was easy to look past how strict her schedule was while she was able to do what she loved each day. She could tend to what her grandparents left for her and mindlessly bake all day. The worst part was having to leave the kitchen.

At that moment, she hadn't baked anything in nearly two months.

It ate at her often, but even as she wandered an island community with her delicious alpha boyfriend, she found true peace. Walking by pastry shops with local delicacies made her forget all about it. She simply wanted to know their secrets each time she bit into something that she wanted to try.
