Not The First Time

"It was you, I fucking knew it," the man said. "You're the one who smelled like that."

Sophia could only stare at him in horror since he had his hand over her mouth and her wrists in his other hand. Her nose filled with the pheromones of an angry alpha and she felt helpless - not for the first time in her life.

Earlier, Carly had gone to the bathroom and Sophia walked forward to the water's edge so she could dip her feet in.

Before she knew it, someone wrapped their arms around her and put their hand over her mouth so she couldn't yell. Right away she smelled pheromones but they weren't recognizable.

It wasn't until he dragged her under the walkway and hid her amongst the beach grass and rocks that she realized it was the man from the beach a few days before. It was clear he had been thinking about her pheromones for a few days. She thought he was insane.
