Hazel was at the balcony, having some monologue with herself. She was going through some pictures in her mobile phone. Oliver have been searching for her through out the morning, and finally met her at the balcony.
Oliver approached Hazel where she was seated, dragging the phone from her hand. Hazel tried collecting it back, but Oliver raised the phone so high, knowing that Hazel won't be able to reach out to it, because he was far taller.
"Oliver can you stop being annoying right now?". She asked him angrily.
"I have been searching for you ever since. Let me peep at those." He said to her, taking a peep at the pictures.
Hazel felt so embarrassed, standing at a corner. She covered her face with her palms, trying to leave the balcony. Oliver dragged her backwards, while she pulled out her hand from his. He was going to find out her poor secret and she was already feeling very ashamed. Oliver turned her towards his direction, while she looked at him with shame in her eyes.
"Okay so what? Huh?". She asked him.
"Don't tell me you....
",Yes I'm in love with Liam. I love him so much." Hazel cuts his words immediately.
Tears rolled down Hazel's eyes, because she felt her brother was going to tag her as a cheap human. She was scared Oliver would reveal her true feelings to Sebastian and more especially to Liam. Oliver pulled her into his arms, while she acted very surprised. She wasn't expecting such kind gesture from him. She pushed him away from her, rolling her eyes at him.
"Why are you pretending to be nice? Just jeer me." She attacked him.
"I already knew you had a thing for Sebastian's friend. Your moves were visible yunno." Oliver exposingly replied.
"It was that obvious?". She asked him shocked.
Oliver nodded his head, while she wondered if Sebastian knew about it too. Oliver returned back her phone, assuring her that he would keep it a secret and try his best to set up a dinner date for the both of them tonight, where she would be able to confess her true feelings to him alone.
Hazel dashed off into her room immediately, searching for a nice dress in her dressing wardrobe.
While searching for a nice dress to pick for the date tonight, Hazel got interrupted by her mother Mrs Kurtz.
"What are you up to now Hazel?". She asked her curiously.
"Mum I'm just picking an outfit for a date with my girls." She lied.
"All these efforts for a date with your friends huh?". Mrs Kurtz asked her suspiciously.
Hazel ignored her question, still searching for a perfect fit she would wear tonight, to meet up with her love Liam. Liam on the other hand, was set up by Oliver, about wanting to meet him tonight, about an urgent information from Sebastian. Oliver was using Sebastian as a bait to get Liam, because he knew that Liam was overly loyal to his older brother.
★★The Night Date★★
Liam arrived at the venue Oliver had given him earlier and he was surprised to see the inner decorations. He was surprised because the context of the room, didn't match with the purpose of their meeting, perhaps not like he was meeting an opposite gender for a meeting. Liam started suspecting Oliver of being a gay or belonging to the lgbt community.
"Hey man, why such romantic decor?". Liam asked him curiously.
"Calm down Liam. The decor has nothing to do with our meeting." Oliver replied.
"Exactly my point. Bro, this isn't right." Liam chipped in.
While they were still arguing, Hazel walked into the hall all dressed up. She was looking very beautiful tonight. She was dressed in a cooperate trouser and a V-shaped long sleeved yellow shirt, that matched with her heels. Her long brown hair, was hanging on her shoulders. She applied a light make up that made her appear very pretty tonight. Liam's attention deviated from Oliver, on seeing Hazel.
"Woo...Wow. Oliver turn to the entrance door." Liam said in admiration, while Oliver turned backwards to take a glance.
"Omg! Sister, you are looking very beautiful tonight." Oliver praised her looks , walking towards her.
"Enough of the flatteries." She blushed.
"Hazel what brought you here though?". Liam asked her.
Hazel exchanged glances with Oliver, while Oliver excused himself from there. Hazel walked up to the chairs, taking a seat. She was facing Liam, and couldn't stop admiring his handsome looks. Her eyes were fixed on his pink suckling lips, while Liam muttered to himself. Hazel couldn't hide her feelings for him too well and she wasn't aware that she was already loose guarding herself before him.
"Hazel ain't you the one I'm talking to huh?". He asked her.
"Oh-oh, I'm very sorry." Hazel apologized, after getting back her lost self.
"Why are you here?". He repeated.
"Liam, I'm here because I have something to say to you." She revealed.
Liam squinted his eyes, staring into Hazel's eyes. He was trying to understand the whole scenario, but at the same time, he remained calm acting like a gentle man. Hazel adjusted her shirt, feeling speechless. She was so scared of confessing her feelings to Liam but she couldn't stop reflecting back on Oliver's efforts for this to work out. She was glad that atleast, one of her siblings got her back. She doesn't know if her confession would get into Sebastian's ears and that was her greatest fear.
"What's that, which your heart yearns to say?". He asked her gently.
"Liam, I..I..I just want to say I love you so much." She said aloud, feeling so ashamed of herself. Her eyes were closed throughout the confession.
Liam stopped himself from laughing out loud and he wondered if this was some sort of joke. Oliver have been outside for a while now, eavesdropping on the both of them. He had to enter immediately, to save his younger sister from further embarrassment. Oliver stepped into the hall, pulling Hazel out of the chair. He pulled her to his chest, while she refused to open her eyes. She was already fantasizing that it was on Liam's chest she rested her head on.
"Open your eyes. Open your eyes." Oliver whisphered to her.
"No I'm shy. Please don't force me." Hazel shyly replied, still thinking it was the voice of Liam.
"It's Oliver." Oliver exposed.
Hazel opened her eyes widely, looking at Oliver's face. She pushed him away from her, turning towards Liam's direction. Liam was still seated on his chair, staring at both of them. Hazel clenched onto the hem of her shirt, feeling so embarrassed. She regretted her words earlier, and wished she never said any of that.
"Is that the reason Oliver tricked me into coming here?." Liam asked annoyed.
"Liam I'm sorry, but aren't you going to listen to her?". Oliver replied back.
"I'm surprised hearing those confessions from her, but honestly I am sorry, because I don't feel the same way about her." Liam revealed.
Hazel couldn't get over her rejection, and she stood still like a drenched cat. Liam stood up, leaving. After he left, Oliver tried consoling Hazel over her rejection tonight. This was her first rejection and she was used to having the opposite gender, flocking around her. She just couldn't stand this particular rejection. Her ego was bruised by Liam and she was never going to forgive him for that.
