"SEBASTIAN'S APOLOGY TO ZOEY."

Back to Manchester city, Sebastian was looking for how to make it up to Zoey. He decided to buy a little cake and bring it over to Zoey's school. He waited behind for her to get done with school, before apologizing to her for the last time.

Zoey was sad through out her day in school, and her friends noticed it. She couldn't stop thinking about how Sebastian manipulated her, and it hurt her feelings so much.

**After school hours**

The bell for school being over got rang by the Poen, and students started packing up their bags to start going back to their various homes.

Zoey was packing her books into her bags when her friends approached her. She was still pulling up a moody face.

"Are you not going to say a word to us?". Hannah asked concernedly.

"Maybe she's hiding something from us." Mia said.

Zoey looked at them, nodding her head. They sat next to her, while she decided to open up to them. They helped her in packing her books into her bag, while she wanted to open up to her friends.

"So tell us what happened." Yvette said to her.

"I have a misunderstanding with cute uncle." Zoey revealed.

"Why?". They asked her in unison.

"It's a personal matter." She replied.

Their faces turned pale by her reply, but they didn't want to bug her. They advised her to forgive him, even though they had no idea about what happened between the two of them. Zoey couldn't forgive him, because she knows the truth now.

Done with packing her books into her school bag, Zoey and her friends left the classroom, heading outside the school. On their way, they bumped into Sebastian. Zoey tried walking out, but Sebastian walked up to her fastly.

"Zoey please just wait a little." Sebastian pleaded with her.

"Are you not going to say a word to him?". Hannah asked her worriedly.

"Zoey calm down and answer him first." Mia suggested.

Zoey kept walking forward, while Sebastian ran after her. Her friends couldn't stop turning their heads backward. They felt very sorry for Sebastian and they were aware of the bond both of them shared.

Sebastian grabbed Zoey's hand from behind, while she turned backwards staring at him angrily. Zoey tried pulling out her hand from his clench, but Sebastian refused to let her go.

"I bought this cake to apologize to you." Sebastian said to her.

"I was wrong, no doubts about that." Sebastian said to her.

Zoey turned away her face, giving deaf ears to his apology. Her friends decided to interfere in their matter, although they had no clue what went wrong.

"Mr Sebastian, what did you do to our friend?". Yvette asked him.

"I already told you guys that it was a matter between us." Zoey said to her friends.

"Whatever is wrong, why don't you hear from his own side of his story?". Mia asked her in a calm tone.

Zoey turned to Mia, pondering on her words. Sebastian smiled, staring at Zoey. Zoey turned towards Sebastian, looking at his face. Mia's question got her, and she had no choice but to do as Mia suggested.

Sebastian brought forth the cake infront of her, while her friends quacked her to accept the apology cake. She collected it from him, and left with him. Zoey's friends decided to go without her and were happy that Zoey and Sebastian were going to iron out their differences and finally settle.

"So why did you do it?". Zoey asked him again.

"I'll explain everything once we get to my home." Sebastian replied her.

Zoey and Sebastian boarded a taxi that dropped them infront of Sebastian's apartment and both of them entered inside. Liam was asleep in his bedroom while Hazel came over in Sebastian's apartment. He wasn't expecting to see her at all. Hazel was watching her favorite tv series at the living room.

Her presence was quite disturbing and Sebastian pleaded with Zoey to follow him to the lounge instead. He didn't want anyone to interrupt their conversation.

"Your sister is really a truck of problem."Zoey said to him.

"She's a nice person once you get to know her." Sebastian praised Hazel.

"I hope so." Zoey replied, sitting on the sofa before her.

The cake had a nice aroma and Zoey loves cakes so much. She requested for a plate and a knife. Sebastian was kind enough to get those for her. Zoey cut a bite and tasted the graciousness of the cake before her.

"The cake is yummy. Where did you get it?". She asked with a mouthful.

"A nice bakery shop." He answered.

Sebastian watched her eat the cake with smiles and wondered what would have happened, if he actually lost Zoey. Aside wanting to use her to get me, Sebastian really loved Zoey so much and had this fatherly affection for her. To him, Zoey doesn't deserve any wickedness at all because she was a good person.

★★At our place..

I was with Jasmine and mother at the living room. I looked at the time at the wall clock and I wondered the reason Zoey wasn't back from her school yet. I have started worrying alot about my daughter, after the last time I saw her almost die before my eyes. My daughter is my life, and I will lose my sanity if anything happens to her.

"Bianca you look worried." Jasmine noticed.

"Is there a problem?". Mum asked me, turning towards me.

"Zoey is meant to be back from school already." I lamented.

Both of them started laughing, but I wasn't finding it funny at all. I was serious and they were busy with laughing at my sad situation. I kept checking the clock and it tick tock, my worries increased.

"Zoey is grown now. She's fine wherever she's."Mum said to me.

"I don't think so. She should come back home right now." I cried out.

"Your tiny baby girl has grown to a teen now, and she can handle herself." Jasmine said.

I refused from listening to their words, because they just couldn't understand how I was feeling. Jasmine passed a bottle of chilled water to me, and I gulped it down within seconds. Mum was happy that her baby girl was now a mother and I could finally feel how she felt that time I ran away from home. It wasn't easy for her at all.

"Every mother feels this way about their child." Mum said.

"Really? I doubt. My mum doesn't care." Jasmine said with a sad voice.

"Why do you say so?". Mum asked her concernedly.

I exchanged glances with Jasmine and I didn't want her to cry about her sad family again. A bubbly adult, that doesn't relate to family being caring towards their own. Sometimes she wished she was an orphan, so that it would be better that her parents are late.

"It's nothing Aunt. I'll be fine." She replied, forcing a smile.

"No matter what happens, one's parents will never abandon them. The love will still be there." Mum assured her with a smile.

Jasmine hugged mother and she just had to let those tears flow freely on their own. This was the kind of relationship she wished she had with her own mother. Her mum was only after her money.

Few minutes later, we heard a knock at the door. I hurried left the living room, heading over to the door. I opened it and it happened to be Zoey. I embraced my daughter with tears, happy to see her.

"Mum, you're suffocating me." Zoey said to me, feeling stuffy by the whole excessive wrapping.

"Sorry my child. I was worried that you might be in trouble." I said to her.

"I'm fine." She said with a smile.

Mum and Jasmine looked at me, like they were going to give me some floggings. Zoey left us, heading into Jasmine's bedroom to take a cold bath at the bathroom. We all laughed at me, and I didn't regret getting worried about my child.
