"MR KURTZ HEALTH ISSUE."

Mr Kurtz slumped on his way to the kitchen room, to get a cup of hot brown coffee for himself. Luckily, Hazel was around to witness the fall. She hurriedly rushed to him, to help him out.

Mr Kurtz kept his head on her laps, while she cried out of fear of losing her father. He has been showing symptoms of sickness recently and she obviously didn't know that it would get to this stage.

"Dad, are you okay?". She asked him in tears.

"Call your mum immediately." He said.

Hazel left him, running out of the passage to the bedroom. Getting there, she met Mrs Kurtz arranging her jewelries into a jewelry box. Hazel approached her, while Mrs Kurtz looked at her confusedly, wondering what's wrong with her.

"Hazel what's wrong?". She asked curiously.

"Father slumped on his way to the kitchen." She said.

Mrs Hazel stood up from the bed immediately, heading towards to the kitchen room. She met her husband at the passage that leads to the kitchen. He was half conscious. She grabbed his head, resting it on her laps. Tears uncontrollably pour down her eyes.

"My love, how did you end up here?". She asked him crying.

"My health is seriously deteriorating. I doubt if I can make it." He said to her.

Mrs Kurtz quickly called over an ambulance to their home, and Mr Kurtz was transfered to a stretcher. He was carried into the ambulance. Mrs Kurtz left with the ambulance, leaving Hazel and Oliver alone.

Hazel was at the lounge, still pondering on the incident that happened before her. She wanted to inform Sebastian about it, but Oliver constantly stopped her.

"Sebastian needs to be informed about father's health." Hazel said to Oliver.

"Father doesn't want to see him. His presence will only cause more harm to father." Oliver replied.

Hazel was still arguing with him, grabbing her phone to dial Sebastian's call number. Oliver dragged the phone from her hand, throwing it to a corner of the lounge. Hazel was surprised by his action.

"Don't you dare put father's health at risk." Oliver warned her.

"You're being unjust. Sebastian will find out somehow anyhow." She said to him.

Hazel went after her phone, and she noticed that there was a crack on the screen of her phone. She looked at Oliver angrily, leaving the lounge immediately. Oliver shook his head, thinking of how to save their father at the moment.

.......

★★At Chicago★★

I was at Ma'am Yolanda's place, serving the dishes I had prepared for her earlier. Her son came back earlier in the week,to spend the few days with his mum. That must have been George's idea.

He knows how to love his family so much. Ben came back with some gifts George bought for his mother.

I was also glad to meet her husband, though he was very aged now. He could barely move his legs and walked with the support of a wooden stick.

They were all at the dinning room, while I brought the meals I had prepared earlier. I served them on different plates, and kept the remaining for the latter. Mrs Yolanda pleaded with me to join them at the table.

"Your meal is very delicious." She commended my hard work with her thumb's up.

"Thank you Aunt." I replied with a smile.

Ben had something to say obviously. He had been quiet for some minutes now. I suspected his moving mouth that looked heavy to me.

"Ben do you want to say something?".I asked him.

"Uhm it's just that...." He paused.

His parents looked at him, wondering what he wanted to say. Ma'am Yolanda couldn't stop staring at him. His quietness was actually scaring her a bit.

"Go on son." She ordered him.

"Briella has finally agreed to return back to Chicago after so many years." Ben revealed.

Mrs Yolanda was happy to hear that. Briella was George's younger sister and also his only sibling. That was really a good news that made everyone entirely happy.

"Who's she?". I asked them confusedly.

"That's George's sister, the one I told you about." Mrs Yolanda said to me.

I nodded my head, remembering our last discussion. I was also waiting to meet her in person and according to Mrs Yolanda's description, she seemed to be in her late twenties.

..........

Mrs Kurtz called some of her husband's business partners over to the hospital. They arrived to meet him in a very bad state.

He could barely talk properly and he was on a drip.

"How did he end up here?." Mr Adel asked.

"This is not good for the Kurtz company. You've been hiding his sickness all these while." Mr Robert said to her disappointedly.

Mrs Kurtz just sobbed at a corner, looking at her husband. He was trying to say a word, but he had difficulty in speaking, due to the slump that happened earlier.

"He needs a replacement." Mr Adel suggested.

"Have you forgotten that his heir denounced his position as the upcoming manager of his company?". Mr Robert reminded him.

" My second son will take over." Mrs Kurtz suggested.

They bluntly refused and reminded her that he was still an inferior to handle such a position. Mr Kurtz was the only one that can save his company now, because they would take his company under his nose if nothing is done urgently.

"If Sebastian is not interested in the position, then we can appoint from the board." Mr Robert said.

"This is my husband's company and none of you've the right to do so." Mrs Kurtz challenged them.

"He might be the owner but this was an agreement." Mr Adel revealed.

"My two sons are still alive. If the heir is unavailable, then the second would take over period." She stubbornly retaliated.

While they were still arguing inside, they heard a knock at the door. They stopped talking, staring at the entrance door.

Oliver walked in, approaching them. Mrs Kurtz quickly left the bay, running to him. She fell into his arms in tears.

"Mum why are you crying?". He asked her.

"These evil people wants to take away your dad's company by using his health as an excuse." She said to him.

Oliver was angry when he heard that. He held her hand, walking up to them. He was ready to face them, and he was obviously aware about all the evil doinga going on in the board of the Kurtz company.

"No one dares to threaten my mum in such manner." Oliver said to them with a harsh tone.

"You're not the heir, meaning that you aren't eligible for such position." Mr Adel said to him.

"I'll take over my father, since he's not physically fine now." Oliver said to them boldy.

Mrs Kurtz was happy to see his guts and it made her really confident that her husband's company was in good hands now. She was angry with Sebastian, because if he had agreed to take over, none of this would have happened.

"It was part of the agreement of the board." Mr Robert stubbornly said.

"To hell with your agreements. My father built his company single handedly and either of his sons are the only ones allowed to take over his company. Outsiders aren't involved at all, you greedy mongers." He insulted them bitterly.

They got angry by the insults they received from Oliver. They quickly left the ward immediately, while Mrs Kurtz hugged Oliver happy by his utterance earlier.

"I'm happy that you stood up for your dad's company." Mrs Kurtz said to him.

"Of course mum. Sebastian handed it over to me, with confidence that I'll take care of it even better than he would have." Oliver replied her.

Mrs Kurtz frowned on hearing Sebastian's name. He had hurt her deeply and she wasn't happy with him at all. She was just sad seeing her husband in such a bad state. It was almost like her world was crashing before her.
