End of first class

Boom!!

The class instantly exploded after Alex's announcement, Vee could not help but give a silent chuckle at this.

'Seems like I should have hidden it instead, being in the spotlight all the time isn't too good'

Meanwhile, the other students were already in a frenzy after what Alex had said. Even the blue-haired kid, Lucas, could not help but stare at Alex in shock!

Aside from the students who had been in the same awakening hall with Alex, the others were in utter disbelief. They had heard that a student had awakened two elements with one being a rare element while the other being a cosmos element.

Such Injustice!

How could one person have such luck, never have they heard of a person having two elements before. Yet, here was Alex, having two elements and his two elements were bosses amongst elements!

It took Bree quite some time to make the students quiet down, she even had to resort to threatening them with their future points, and only then did they reluctantly shut up; otherwise, they would have rushed Alex by now and asked him to make friends with them.

After Alex, a few more students also announced their elements but none of them cursed any reactions from the students as Alex's double elements had shocked everyone too much for them to take notice of anything else.

Regardless, Bree continued with her teaching.

She explained the categories of the elements which were known as common, rare, and cosmos elements as well as the groups of elements as some elements were known as defense elements since their spells were more suitable for defending, attack elements such as fire, lightning, ice, as well as the support elements which included even the healing element that was a cosmos element.

"Although elements such as the earth element and plant element are defense-type elements, it doesn't mean that a mage with either of these would lose to someone with an attack-type element. They are only called defense-type elements as it is their strongest aspect, keep in mind that they also have attack spells as well.

The same goes for support-type elements such as the healing element, wind element, water element, and light element. Do not underestimate anyone with these elements just because you have a stronger element.

Else, I assure you that you will regret finding out why the healing element is a cosmos element despite being a support type element"

Bree explained and the students nodded before writing the words that were appearing on the board.

' Seriously? Do I have to write as well?' Vee sighed inwardly in defeat as he lazily moved his pen across the book.

Unlike him, Gustavo, Alex, and Helen were all speedily writing down the things on the board before they would disappear.

The class went on for a few more hours after Bree's explanation, she gave the students the chance to ask questions on what they did not understand after which she would try to explain to the best of her ability.

"Class is over, that is all for today," she said as she picked up the textbook that was open on the podium while the board behind her dimmed as if drained of light.

"Now I expect you all to go back and read your manual and what you have learned today. Of course, you can do whatever you want after the class but make sure not to be caught outside your lodge after 10p.m" Bree said and vanished from where she was standing.

Yeah, she had literally vanished into flickers of lightning and was no longer in the class.

Gasp!!

A lot of students gasped at the sudden disappearance of instructor Bree, they stared at the platform for a few seconds, dazed.

That's the power of a mage!

So cool! I'll work and become a true mage as soon as possible!

True magic, this is true magic!

A lot of students had their hearts burning with passion at the display of their instructor, even Gustavo and the others who seemed to have mage backgrounds and should be used to this still found themselves staring at the platform with sparkling eyes. Only Vee remained expressionless…and thoughtful.

'I wonder if he has found out already?'

Vee thought to himself as the image of a certain village appeared in his mind.

"Hey, are the guys going to leave yet or do you want them to surround you first?" Gustavo suddenly said to Vee and Alex as he kept his things back into his storage device.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Alex asked in confusion as he could not understand who was going to surround them.

Meanwhile, Vee glanced at the corner of the class and saw that the kid who had awakened the curse element had already left the classroom.

"Anyway, we are going to the cafeteria for lunch, want to come with us?" Gustavo asked while staring at Alex.

'Lunch invitation?' Alex thought to himself before nodding.

" Cool, let's go then," Gustavo said with a smile before turning to the door. Vee, Milan, and Torie followed behind them.

A few seconds after they left…

"Hey, where's Alex?"

"Who's Alex?"

"You dummy, the boy who awakened the double element!"

"Oh, you meant the white-haired kid? Isn't he sitting over…hey, where is he?!"

" The classmate who awakened the curse element is gone too"

" Damnit, I didn't manage to introduce myself to any of them!"

" I wanted to make friends with them too, sigh! They are just too fast"

" Did you see that red-haired girl also?"

" You mean Torie? Yes, she was so beautiful just then"

" What are you boys drooling about? So disgusting? Anyway, did anyone see my Gustavo?"

" When did he become your Gustavo? See if I don't break your head!"

" You girls can argue over Gustavo, just leave Milan for me!"

The classroom soon turned as noisy as poultry as the students began to talk about what they learned today and their newfound crush. It could not be helped, even with Alex's dual elements, he could not hold a candle against Gustavo and a few others in terms of looks so his name was quickly pushed aside once the students started to talk about their crush.

Funny how these kids throw away power in exchange for looks!

Meanwhile, the village head finally arrived in front of a familiar field. He was back!
