Boom!!!!!!
A thunderous explosion erupted, and a huge gaping hole could be seen on the body of the pangolin beast through which the view behind it could be seen.
The reason Vee had cursed out earlier was because he had miscalculated his strength, the force of that punch just now…was almost close to his full-powered punch!
Thud!
The remains of the pangolin beast fell nimbly to the floor, behind the beast, for as far as over two hundred meters behind it had been destroyed. The trees were blown away, the earth collapsed and parted, and numerous particles of light rose into the air at the same time as the body of the beast in front of Vee turned into light particles; those Particles of light were obviously beasts that had died to his punch.
"That spell definitely wasn't enough to cause this much damage, I shouldn't have punched so hard," Vee said with a sad sigh as he stared at the space that had gone through a devastating change in front of him, everywhere was eerily quiet; he had killed all the beasts nearby after all.
"How should I explain this to her?" Vee mumbled with a troubled look on his face as he thought that the red-haired woman might be looking at his performance.
What he just did was definitely beyond what a Nebula rank mage should be able to do.
Vee decided to worry about that after coming out of the capsule.
"So, how do I leave?" Vee wondered. Since it was impossible to kill all the beasts, there should be a way to go out, right?
"Whatever, I'll just force myself out," Vee said and closed his eyes before opening it the next second, he had returned to the capsule.
He already knew that the capsule would force anyone who entered into an unconscious state so those with stronger mental strength should be able to resist for a while or completely, a Transcended rank mage like Vee could come and go as he pleased.
The cover of the capsule opened and Vee climbed out, he stretched his limbs; he did not feel any discomfort.
Only after that did he turn to look at the red-haired woman who was staring at the screen with a blank look on her face, she did not seem to notice that Vee had already returned and was standing beside her.
Vee turned to look at the screen as well and a look of understanding appeared on his face, he could sympathize with the woman's feeling because looking at the screen, Vee knew that the points being displayed on the screen were beyond what a Nebula rank mage could handle.
Vee looked at the screen and placed one hand on his forehead, he suddenly felt a headache coming up.
Not only did he end up killing a suspicious number of common rank beasts, and a near-impossible number of mutated rank beasts, but he even killed fifteen beasts that were at the Transformed rank!
One should know that Nebula mages were only able to deal with mutated rank beasts at best and even then, facing more than five mutated rank beasts at once or consecutively would be a disaster for them. As for beasts at the Transformed rank, those were beasts that were near the Calamity rank and could devastate a city if they showed up.
Only supreme mages could face off against a beast at the Transformed rank as even the weakest Transformed beast could still take in a couple of Mage King rank mages!
The red-haired woman finally came back to her senses and noticed Vee who was standing beside her with a palm on his forehead, the look in her eyes instantly changed as she turned to face him.
"Crismon, what…what is this?" The red-haired woman asked Vee, her voice was riddled with confusion and disbelief.
Vee stayed quiet for a few seconds but seeing the woman still looking at him so intently, he concluded that she wasn't going to let him go easily without an explanation.
Thankfully, Vee wasn't really a twenty-year-old Nebula mage, he was a Transcended rank mage with thousands of years of experience and knew a lot about beasts compared to anyone present.
(All the people of his generation were long dead or hidden away in some ancient family mansion)
Right on the spot, Vee made up an explanation that was hard to accept but reasonable if thought about carefully.
His explanation was that he had wandered into the territory of a Transformed rank beast that chased after him into the territory of another Transformed rank beast and the two began to fight over who would eat him, their fight was devastating and a lot of beasts in the area were gravely injured due to this.
More Transformed rank beasts later showed up to check out the situation after sensing the disturbance, the newly arrived beasts turned out to have issues with these two who were fighting and tried to kill them which resulted in a brawl between five Transformed rank beasts. More and more beasts were injured or killed and Vee had barely managed to avoid getting killed by the shockwave of their fight while killing the beasts that still tried to kill him despite being on their deathbed, this involved common rank beasts and mutated rank beasts.
Soon enough, the five Transformed rank beasts put each other near death with just a few breaths left in them. Seeing this, Vee claimed that his eyes had shown with greed and he went to end them but Vee realized that he had overestimated himself. Transformed rank beasts, even at death doors, were not something a Nebula mage like him could hope to kill.
Vee found himself in a tight spot after getting himself surrounded by half-dead Transformed beasts and had to cast a self-harming spell that detonated all the mana in his body, he did not know what happened after that.
The red-haired woman stared at Vee with incredibility in her eyes, his story was so difficult to believe especially when the setting was not in the real world but in a virtual world. Was there such a setting in the system?
