Chapter 239 : Just My Luck

Tohsaka Tokiomi was troubled by what happened in the shipyard. Firstly he had to use one of his command seals on Gilgamesh to bring him back and refrain him from further displaying his identity to others and ruining his plan.

And then there was that child mage. Not only he came out of nowhere but there was no information about him. Even after he used his sources he couldn't find anything about him.

It wouldn't have mattered that much but the child was strong. Though even Kotomine's servant Assassin couldn't find just how strong. Apparently, something blocks them from even entering a certain space close to that shipyard.

Him being there is a reason to consider him another master, but nothing can is clear. And lastly, after that, it became almost impossible to find the boy.

And if that wasn't enough then they found a former master's dead body in the shipyard later on. That being none other than Kariya Matou.

Frowning Tokiomi just shook his head. He knew that there would be changes in their plans.

"I understand Kotomine, make sure that you use Assassin to find this boy and if possible take him out. Master or not, it's better for that boy to not exist especially if he is strong." Tokiomi said as he spoke into a magic device while sitting alone in his study room, while talking with his apprentice, Kotomine who too was a master but was working with him all along.

"Understood." came the cold voice of Kotomine from the other side.

As he cut the phone call, Kotomine frowned, 'Orion D Ambrosius. Who are you.'

And two of them were not the only ones who were thinking about Orion.

Saber and Iris were taking Emiya back to the mansion as he was unconscious and still very much injured even after Orion generously gave him a healing potion, before meeting the caster just like in the anime, they were talking about Orion.

They were especially impressed as they had seen Orion fighting. And though it surprised them when Orion alone was able to fight Berserker with swords nonetheless, what made them almost get out of there as soon as possible was Orion's killing Berserker so easily.

And they were not the only ones, others were also talking about the boy.

And on the other hand, the said boy after his little uninvited introduction to the cannon event, immediately rushes to get something to eat. He was starving from training all day long, and he wasn't even sure for how long just he was lying in that garbage.

While devouring the entire Ramen shop, he didn't notice the slight sensation of coldness and then warmness on his left hand.

The Shop owner was completely gaping by the time Orion was done. He alone emptied out his entire week's stock. Of course, Orion compensated him enough that he didn't just give up on him midway.

Three gold coins were more than sufficient.

Was that necessary?

No...

Way too much money he gave out?

Absolutely yes.

So why did he do that?

Becuase he loved the food. And because it was nighttime, there wasn't even a single shop open nearby. To the point that he had to catch a man who was just about to close his shop for the day, a small shop at the corner of an alley, quite old and cheap but the food was tasty as hell, he felt bad as how he had to stop the man from closing his shop and make him cook Ramen for 3 hours straight for him.

Its at least worth giving him three gold coins.

Once he had his fill he took off, planning to get a place for himself to sleep. After eating it's natural that a person feels sleepy. He in this case was even worse, maybe the dragon traits he got were responsible for this.

There was also the fact that Orion was tired. He hadn't had any sleep for 18 hours and in that 18 hours, he was doing high-intensity training for 12 hours.

Finding a good place however wasn't hard, as long as he was ready to use some mind magic to make things go his way.

.

.

He woke up the next day in a refreshed mood.

"Damn, I really wanted this." Orion smiled.

"It always feels good to get a full sleep, especially after a hard day of work.

But now it's time to get back home. All kinds of shit are gonna happen here and I rather not fall between all that.

He mutters some spells under his breath after making sure that he left some money on the table. He didn't want to rent the room for free.

As he completed his spell casting he extended his hand forward to open the portal...

Waited...

Waited...

Nothing Happened...

Waited for More...

Still, Nothing Happened...

'fuck...'

He cursed seeing nothing happening. He made sure that his magic was working fine by trying to lift something with simple force. He even used the Law of Space next to understand whether this place was causing him any problems in manipulating the space, but everything was fine.

He even opened a normal portal after that just to recheck and it worked just fine.

'Hmm, most of the things are working just fine. Then what I'm doing wrong? maybe not putting enough power into it.' Orion pondered as he gathered the magical power and repeated his spell.

"FUCK...." Only for his left hand to suddenly ache out as someone shot him a bullet there.

"What the hell." Orion now finally worried, looks at his left hand. His left hand never has acted out like that. So why suddenly?

'Did I push it too much when fighting with Berserker ?' Orion suddenly thought about it and pursed his lips with confusion.

Thinking of delaying the matter of going back for some time, he first decided to check out what was wrong with his left hand. Unknowingly he had a bad feeling inside him. The same kind when the world fucked him over again and he just doesn't know it yet.

With the help of Force, he masterfully removes the bandage from his left hand. Thanks to Magic he doesn't have to remove it often.

As he opened the bandage he came to see white skin.

He blink...

This shouldn't be anything surprising if Orion's hand didn't turn dark over the years at the loss of magic in his left hand while also the dark magic affected that arm.

Only now that he realized something, something which he hadn't sensed for a long time.

He was taken aback, for a second wondering whether he was hallucinating or something.

He hurriedly removed the rest of the bandage to see. There was no doubt that this feeling on his hand was Magic.

"HOW ?" that was the only question he wanted to know at this time.

But upon looking at a strange tattoo on the back of his hand he understood everything.

Why suddenly does his hand heal, why he can't go back to his world?

"Just My Luck."
