Nari stared at the three retreating figures leave the mansion one after another. She was dragged out by her mother and forced to watch them all step inside their car before leaving. It was suspicious that they all decided to come here but she ignored it. The text she got from a nurse at the metal asylum was more important than whatever it was Anna had come to do.
Her family have been somehow chosen by the charity organization. This was good news, especially since she didn't have the money for their upkeep anymore. If they're being cared for by strangers, then she doesn't have to worry about them anymore.
Nari was too engrossed in her little victory that she hadn't noticed Kate who quickly rushed to her new safe to check on her box of jewels, just to be sure Anna hadn't touched more jewels as she walked in. She knew it was pointless protecting the box of fake jewels, but she still had little hope that maybe one, just one could be real in there.
