That's my girl

Chen Mumu lay on the bed, her eyes drifting over to Xu Jingli every few seconds. The room was quiet, save for the soft hum of the city outside. But inside her mind? Chaos.

She turned on her side, watching as Xu Jingli scrolled through his phone, completely at ease. Finally, she couldn't take it anymore.

"Are you not leaving?" she asked.

Xu Jingli's fingers stilled, and he slowly turned to face her, raising an eyebrow.

"Do you want me to leave?"

Chen Mumu quickly shook her head. "It's not that, it's just…" She glanced at her tiny bed, then back at him. "This place won't fit."

The last time Xu Jingli stayed over, she had slept in her mother's room while he took the bed. But this time, no matter how much she tried to reason with him, he had refused to sleep apart.

Xu Jingli followed her gaze to the small bed and smirked. "Then you can sleep on the floor."
