Otto's Day Off

"Hmm, let's see…" Otto murmured as he waited at another red light. "My day off actually started last night, Miss Allard. I'm already on my way back to just lug around the estate. I just drive by the expressways and watch the sunrise while cruising. That's all I remember doing to make me feel alive… aside from fiddling with my old radios."

"Remember?" Keagan echoed weakly, and Otto assented with a hum. She then shifted to face him even though he was not looking at her. "You don't remember anything much?"

Otto chuckled as he drove to swerve out of their direct path home. "Uhm, that's true. We're servants to the Wren, a member of the Orpheus. We were not allowed to remember our old lives after we were resurrected through the madam's mercy. I don't even remember why I chose to be a vampire."
