"Princess?" Keagan echoed and watched the thing lean down to pick her up from the ground. However, she screamed and evaded the hand. She ran to the water and jumped in to save Otto. He just said how staying underwater could kill a vampire, and she didn't want to stand by and watch longer.

She did her best to make sure Elijah was safe, so why should she leave Otto on his own?

Keagan knew her clothes would hinder her speed, but she didn't want to leave anything for the thing to track. She put her college swimming lessons to the test as she chased Otto's body. He was sinking a little slower than she could swim, so she managed to pull on his arm. The woman then chose to swim to the surface to get more air.

"Princess…!" The creature jumped into the water as well after screaming. It quickly caught up to where Keagan was. Despite the depth they got to, it opened its mouth and screamed for the princess.
