Keagan slowly sat down and stared at the black mirror on the TV. Strange things came to her mind as darkness shrouded most of her sight, but none of them had a real image before her. She just felt cold and unsafe in such a setting. Her hand went to her shoulder and started rubbing it down to her elbow.

Soon enough, however, Baron manually slid the panel as if his fixtures didn't always rely on electricity. He then looked around and gestured to the kitchen. "I'm going to look for flashlights and my portable candles. Leon, double-bolt the door. I don't know how big wild animals get these days. Just a few days ago, someone lost a whole torso to those things."
