What They are Dealing With

Keagan panicked the moment the elevator dinged. After all, that was a split second before the first woman shoved her toward the elevator. They were all waiting for Keagan to get talked down by some higher-ups, the only ones to show up by then. The smiles on their faces were also vile and mocking as if enjoying the impending doom.

Catch! Keagan felt how she crashed into someone's body when the elevator opened behind her. However, she caught a whiff of the familiar expensive perfume. The bosom she landed on also felt familiar as if she had been crying on it for so long.

The elevator doors pulled to the sides, and Wren was only expecting directors trying to keep her still for the morning. However, what surprised her was that Keagan fell inside the elevator. She caught Keagan readily and chuckled as their eyes locked. "Why are you here, Keagan? I told Gephardt we're heading down. Did you slip while waiting for us?"
