I sneered at Oswald deridingly and raised my chin proudly, not giving regard to his hands that locked me in place. I gave the sweetest smile I could ever muster to him upon seeing a nervous expression slowly creeping onto his face.
"Why surprised? Isn't that what Alpha Oswald has wanted since the beginning?" I quipped provocatively.
"Isn't that what you don't want?" Oswald snapped, his hold tightening in anger.
I bit my lower lip to stop myself from wincing loudly due to the pain.
Is he kidding? How does what I want and don't want connect to our current situation? Does he even recall what he has done to me in the past?
When I never wanted to leave, he was the one pushing me to leave, so how does what I didn't want concern him?
I glared at Oswald angrily. "What does it matter? My decision has changed, and my mind is made up. Oswald, let me go now." I retorted frankly and began to struggle, so Oswald could let me go, but he refused to budge from me.
