I woke up to a startle due to the ringing of my room's alarm.
I pouted my lips in disgruntlement and rolled deeper into the bed, pulling the blanket tighter to my body.
Gosh! Even though today is Monday, I don't want to wake up! I still can't snap out of the fun we had during the weekend. Not to mention that Arya and I had watched movies late until Wyatt had to intervene.
Arya groaned and flailed her legs drowsily. "Maia, please. Turn it off. I want to sleep, please." Arya grumbled in a drowsy voice. Immediately, she placed one of the pillows on her head to block the loud noise.
Hearing Arya, I knew I had no choice but to stand up and turn off the alarm. Moreover, I'm still sleepy, and I won't be able to sleep with the alarm noise.
I sat up unhappily and picked up the clock before turning it off while trying to resist the certain urge that wanted to throw the clock at the wall.
It was 3:03 a.m. Too early. I smacked my lips together and rubbed my eyes while yawning.
