Twenty years have passed since then. Despite that, she has never left his mind. She was the person he was thinking about on that fateful day, after all. 


In the realm that seems like dreams, he witnesses the moments that have woven into her life. He sees the tears she sheds when he doesn't appear the next day, and wishes more than anything that he could ease her heartache. He witnesses the sorrow that accompanies her preparations to leave for America with her father. He can see her packing up her belongings, a forced smile on her lips as her father speaks of the excitement and potential of meeting a prestigious match. 


At first, anger boils within him. The idea of her marrying another man causes a surge of jealousy and despair. He wrestles with the unfairness of it all, the love of his life being handed over to someone else. After all, anyone else would never have the same connection they had.
