Squatting Sam (18++)

Firstly, the term ‘squatting with someone’ means an entirely different thing here in Nigeria compared to the rest of the world. While ‘squatting’ actually means ‘trespassing’ and eventually ‘occupying’ a building ‘illegally’ and ‘without authorization/consent’ from the owner, in Nigeria ‘squatting’ means sharing an apartment with the actual tenant or owner as a paying (or even non-paying) subtenant. So, the idea to write this story was pulled partly from a friend’s experience and then a personal experience. For the friend’s, she tried accommodating her boyfriend’s cousin for a few weeks, and was basically thrown all manner of sensual temptation from the boy. Nothing eventually happened anyway but I pictured the opposite and blew it as large as I could until I made a story out of it.
