"Promise me you won't pull such a stunt again leaving like that and also that no matter what, no matter which position you find yourself, you will love Vincent regardless." Mason said taking in a sharp breath after his words causing Ariel to raise her brows as her tight muscles finally relaxed, he just wanted her to promise her loyalty to Vincent.

"I will, no matter what, but as for leaving, if I have to do so in order to protect my family i will do it without hesitation." Ariel replied putting on a brave face, in as much as she just wanted to stay by Vincent and children's side watching how life plays out, she has assumed a new responsibility, a responsibility that came with enemies within and outside also.

"That's good." Mason stated then silence reigned between them both as the tension that somewhat existed before faded away, Mason looked at the other empty chair far across him, at the other side of the table clenching his cane tightly.
