Chapter 2. Another Day In Hell

Pearl sat in her room, refusing to eat or drink. The door opened, and Draco entered with a tray of food. "The maids told me you didn't want to eat," he said, placing the tray on the table.

Pearl, curled up on the bed, rested her head against the wall and muttered, "I don't want to live. Just kill me."

"I really hate your guts, just like your mother, you think that you can just show up here and have everything? You low slutty bitch!" He slapped her face and grabbed her neck.

"I really hate you so much…you disgust me!' He pushed her on the wall and she winced.

"Go ahead and kill me…just do it!" She sniffed in and he slapped her double times.

"You don't tell me when to end your life!" He responded.

"Ma…." Her wolf was awakening and she felt strange.

He moved towards her and held her chin."You don't deserve it

"Mate" Her wolf growled but Draco didn't seem affected by it.

"You knew that I was your mate..!?" She felt hurt, staring right into his eyes.

"Does it matter? Having a stupid omega mate!!?" He yelled and hit her against the wall.

"It's not my fault…I'm not the moon goodness!" She yelled back and Draco withdrew.

"I don't see you as my step sister, my father didn't accept your mother as his Luna, she just forced herself on him" He spoke and Pearl shook her head.

"That's a lie!" She sniffed in.

"Omegas only care about being at the top, nothing else," he sneered before leaving the room.

Draco met Edgar in the room, both smoking heavily. "Is everything okay?" Edgar asked, and Draco nodded.

"Hmm," he mumbled, and Edgar scoffed.

"Do you feel the mate bond?" Edgar suddenly asked, causing Draco to drop his glass of whiskey.

"Do you feel the mate bond with Pearl?" He asked, and Edgar nodded.

"I wasn't expecting that my stepsister would be our mate," he chuckled.

"That's not funny. She's a lowlife!" Draco growled, and Edgar shrugged.

"Does it matter? She's our mate after all," he responded, and Draco furrowed his brows.

"Don't tell me you're thinking of accepting her. She's too low for us. We're Alphas, for crying out loud. We deserve something better," he growled.

"I remember you being so addicted to her back when father was alive," Edgar smirked. "Remember defending her in school?" He added, and Draco clenched his fists.

"You know that was part of the plan. She's weak. She can't be the Luna of this pack. We won't accept her as our mate, never!" He slammed his hands on the desk.

"And what if I want her? My wolf can't endure it anymore. It's a mating period, you know, right?" Edgar loosened his tie.

"Cut the crap. If you want to satisfy yourself, go to the club. There are lots of pretty women," Draco said, and Edgar nodded.

"Should we?" He asked, and Draco chuckled.

You bet!" he replied. They walked into their dressing room and changed into a bad boy outfit: black leather jackets, black pants, and black face masks.

"Do I look handsome?" Draco asked, and Edgar shook his head. "So we don't look handsome? It's our face, remember!" He tapped his hair as they walked out of the room.

Leaving the house, the bodyguards quickly prepared their cars and sped off to the pack's most expensive club, known for its questionable activities.

Upon arriving at the club, Edgar and Draco took their seats in the VIP section, catching the attention of all the females. Draco, known for his womanizing ways, made sure to give them a seductive look.

"Hey, Alphas," a slim tall blonde girl introduced herself as Scarlett, Alpha Jacob's daughter. She extended her hand for a handshake, but Edgar's cold expression turned her down.

"Do you remember your father, the former pack leader in Moon City?" Draco asked, and she blushed, confirming it.

"I'm Draco, and this is Edgar," he introduced himself and his brother, causing Scarlett to smile.

"Don't mind him, he can be a bit aloof at times," Draco rolled his eyes, and Edgar glared at him.

"It's okay, I suppose he's the quiet one," Scarlett said seductively, crossing her legs as Draco's eyes wandered.

"You are beautiful... I like what I see," he calmly complimented.

"Then come get it," she replied, and he swiftly moved closer, pinning her on the couch. He sniffed her neck and whispered, "Of course, but I'm not going to do it alone." He paused and gazed into her eyes filled with lust.

"I always share what's mine with my brother; we share whatever comes to us," he pulled her leg toward his chest, his hands running on her thighs.

"I don't mind," Scarlett replied as his hands went to her chest and cupped it.

Pearl quietly slipped out of her door, relieved to find her stepbrothers weren't around, and made her way to the garden, her favorite spot.

"Should you be out?" someone asked, and she gasped, turning to see him.

"Please don't tell on me," Pearl pleaded, but the guy smiled.

"I won't, I'm Alex," he said, extending his hand for a handshake.

"I'm Pearl," she replied, shaking his hand.

"I know, the Alpha's stepsister," he said, and Pearl sighed softly.

"Hmm. Do you work here?" she asked, walking slowly, and Alex followed.

"Yes, I work in the security department, which is how I knew when you left your room secretly," he said, and she chuckled.

"To be honest, it's so boring, and I hate it," she sighed.

"The good news is you can enjoy it while it lasts," he smiled as she sat down on the pavement.

"What's it like?"

"Huh?" she widened her eyes.

"Being protected by the two Alphas; surely no one would dare to bully you," Alex said.

"You think? I wish it were true," she picked up a flower and tucked it into her hair. "Is it pretty?"

"Oh, yes, it is," he replied before standing up. "You should go inside," he added.

"Why? Are my brothers back?" She looked around.

"No more questions, come on," he dragged her along.

They stopped abruptly when two cars arrived hastily.

Pearl's heart raced as her brothers got out of the cars. Edgar's gaze went to her hand, and he glared at her.

"Goodbye," she muttered to Alex before running away.

Draco stepped out of the car with Scarlett leaning on his shoulder as if she couldn't walk properly without him.

Edgar went inside immediately, opened Pearl's room, and slammed the door heavily.

"Who told you to leave your room?" His voice was husky.

"Why can't I? Am I already a prisoner?" she questioned, sitting up.

Edgar clenched his fist and took a deep breath. "You shouldn't be with other guys; it annoys me when you do that," he said as he walked toward the bed.

"Why? One minute you're all harsh with me, and the next, it's like I'm so precious," she muttered as Edgar's hand cupped her cheek.

He looked at her lips and leaned towards them. "Why are they so red?" His eyes fixed on her reddened lips, and she sucked them in.

He pushed her onto the bed, held her cheek, and pressed his lips onto hers, making her eyes widen.

He deepened the kiss while she stood frozen on the bed.

After a few seconds, she regained herself and pushed him back.

"Are you crazy?" She moved away, and he scoffed.

"Why? Because I tried to kiss you? I could have my way with you if I wanted to. You're not even my real sister." His hands landed on her lap.

"You're insane!" She shouted, and he withdrew his hands.

"Since you want to walk around, come with me." He dragged her off.

He held her tightly and pulled her to the living room to stop Draco from continuing whatever he was doing with Scarlett.

"What is she doing here? You should be in your room," Draco said as Edgar sat on the couch.

"Who's she?" Scarlett asked, running her hands on his chest.

"My sister," Draco replied, staring at Pearl.

"Oh, you mean your stepsister, the omega who seems like a rogue wolf?" Scarlett burst into laughter and rolled her eyes at Pearl.

Draco smirked, noticing that Pearl was already tearing up. Just as he thought, she was too innocent and weak.

"Get me some red wine," Scarlett said as she returned to kissing Draco.

Pearl slowly looked up, and her eyes met Draco's. How could he be so heartless and cruel?

"Go get the wine!" Draco yelled, and she flinched before walking to the mini bar.

She grabbed the red wine and returned with it.

"Here," she said, dropping it on the table.

Scarlett scoffed and walked up to her. "Are you that clueless?" She asked and grabbed the glass of water, pouring it on Pearl's face.

"Where are the glass cups? Do I need to tell you that?"

Edgar looked at Draco, seeing that he was enjoying the situation, and he leaned back in his seat.

"I'm sorry," she muttered and turned to leave.

"She's so naive. I feel really awkward around her," Scarlett said, rolling her eyes as she returned to Draco's arms.

Draco's hand continued moving up and down Scarlett's thighs.

"Here's everything you want," Pearl dropped it on the table.

"Draco, a moment," Edgar said, walking off.

"Just a minute, sweetheart," he kissed her gently, sliding his tongue inside her.

"Uhmm," she moaned softly.

Draco left her and walked into the room.

"What's your plan? Why bring Scarlett home when you know we have our mate?" He asked as soon as Draco walked in.

"What? It's not like you like her," he rolled his eyes.

"I don't like her, but don't you know you're hurting her so badly!" Edgar said, and Draco narrowed his brows, almost laughing.

"That's what she deserves. I won't be having this conversation with you any longer, and so you know, I don't plan on letting her go. She will suffer for making Father hate and punish us." He walked out on Edgar.

Edgar returned to the living room, grabbed his drink, and walked out.

"He doesn't like me," Scarlett said, biting her lip and acting innocent.

"Don't worry, he just acts tough, but he isn't," Draco muttered.

Edgar walked into his room before telling a maid to call Pearl, and in the next few minutes, she returned with Pearl.

Edgar tapped his lap, and Pearl opened her mouth slightly. "Huh?"

"Come sit," he muttered, but she stood there.

He pulled her and made her sit on his lap, his hands on her waist.

"Relax," he brought his nose close to her neck. "I said relax," he added, and she relaxed.

His hands went to her upper body, and she swallowed hard. He noticed she adjusted, sitting on his lap instead.

"What is that?" She muttered, touching him. She stopped, noticing what it was.

"Why did you stop?" He whispered, loosening her hair and unzipping her short gown.

"I don't…please stop" She muttered, as his hands kept drawing invisible lines on her back..

"Why? You like it when Draco touches you?" He teased and she exhaled softly.

He turned her and made her face him. "Look at me!" He lifted up her chin and kissed her lip.

"You haven't had sex before right?" He asked, bringing his hands on her boobs.

"Yes-yes" she replied with a blush face.

"Hmm…I would have killed whoever took what belonged to me first" His voice got more husky as he widened her legs.

"What!? Stop…Draco is…"

"Your mate? His also having sex with another lady" Edgar smiled, as his fingers went into her and she gasped out

"Mate…" She widened her eyes.
