RDZ would use the short training period to evalute the players and see who's in his plans and those that aren't in his plans, players like Roberto, Dest, Dembele and Pjanic would all be under his scrutiny until they prove otherwise in trainings, the coaches are busy conditioning the players while Alex and the board are busy structuring the other teams of the club, the teams in La masia, Feminine, Basketball, Hockey, and Futsal teams all are facing a stringent summer where their coaches are trying to prove to the board they're not to be axed or replaced as they can win with their teams. For the coaches in La masia, Alex is not willing to distablize the young guys training, hence why he tasked the board members in the sporting sector to make sure the best progressive coaches in La masia are renewed.

Coaches like Oscar Lopez coach of Juvenil A(u-19), Juvenil B coached by Pol Planas (u-17), plus the U15, U14 and U12 male teams would surely be evaluated for renewing. The Feminine team has the same set-up with U-19, U-17, U-15, U-14, U-12 including the first team female, the Board member representing Barca Femení is Xavier Puig. The Barca board is fixing a lot of messes inherited from the past board, Alex has set up multiple committees that would submit most of their reports and findings to the whole board members in the coming months, but the committee Alex put more emphasis on is the one investigating past boards financial transgressions and misappropriation of club funds, Alex knew from the first reviewed docs that the past board approved payment of funds to journalists and reporters to taint some of the club players and at the same time to boost their images to the public.

The second batch of the players are resuming their preseason training today, which places the staffers in the club on high alert and on their toes for completion of their duties without being caught off guard, the board at the same time was meeting with the agent of Lionel Messi and agents of Sergio Busquets regarding renewing their current contracts on better and conducive terms for the club. "Barcelona and it's fans are willing to offer Messi the contract of 2 years with an option of 1 added but the club would reduce his salary but offer him more in terms of signing on bonus as we're financially more viable and vibrant as compared to last season" said Alex to Messi's father and agent Jorge Messi.

Jorge replied "Barca has been our first option always and we're always indebted to the club and it's staff, so all I'll say is I'll show the contract to Messi and listen to his options, but believe me, we're maybe going to change the years but won't reject the deal as it's more than we anticipated".

After Jorge left, the board entered another meeting with Busquets agent who was almost immediately ready to sign the contract offered by the club, the contract was of 2years with improved financial terms which he also never expected. The club offered Pique the same deal but he's already made the decision to Retire at the end of the season, which deeply gutted the board but life must go on even without him and the club has already made the move to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla for €45m but he'll only arrive next season after pique eventually leaves.

The club is currently preparing for the first preseason game against Racing Club Santander, which would take place at the Estadi Johan Cruyff Arena of the Barca B team, the full players are back into the preseason camp and RDZ is trying to fully evalute them for any players not in his plans and board has assured him of its readiness to act on his calls as the clubs financial health is splendid.
