Chapter 6: Lord, Who Banished The Evil Light.

When Dracula observed the situation spiraling out of control, he swiftly scanned the surroundings, searching for a solution.

Suddenly, his eyes landed on Leo, engaged in a conversation with his daughter.

In an instant, the gears in Dracula's head started to turn, and an idea clicked.

Leo, sensing Dracula's intense gaze, looked back at him with confusion, wondering why he was being scrutinized.

However, Leo's attention soon shifted to Jonathan, who was attempting to mimic a monster from the Frankenstein family but failing miserably.

Leo harbored a desire to help Dracula with his PTSD problem, a task assigned to him by his system.

Before Leo could voice his intentions, Dracula, using his supernatural speed, appeared before him.

Cough... cough...

Dracula coughed to draw the attention of everyone in the party hall.

The entire room fell silent, with all eyes fixed on Dracula, awaiting his words.

The only exception was the children of Wayne werewolves, engrossed in their playful scuffles, biting each other's ears, tails, hands, and legs.

Feeling the weight of everyone's gaze, Leo sensed that something ominous was about to happen.

Dracula commenced his speech, addressing everyone who had gathered to celebrate his daughter's birthday.

He took Leo's hand and lifted it, creating a dramatic buildup with a huge smile on his face.

'No... no, Drac... don't do this to me... no!...'

Hearing Dracula's words, the other attendees in the hall became quiet, their eyes widening in shock and realization.

Leo's face displayed a mix of emotions as Dracula continued to speak.

Even Wayne's children fell silent, looking at Leo with stars in their eyes, as if they had discovered a new toy to play with.

"Now I remember; it is him,"

Wayne exclaimed, pointing his finger toward Leo.

All the monsters in the hall promptly went to their knees, holding their hands in a praying position.

"Oh, Lord, who banished the evil light and brought pure darkness into our lives...

the one who stole the unholy panties of those evil women hunters...

the one who gave his chastity to an ugly human to protect innocent monster kids...

the one who was crucified to pay for the sins committed by us monsters...."

Everyone in the hall, including Dracula and Darcy, engaged in a prayer, causing Leo's blood pressure to soar as he cringed at the words mentioned.

Jonathan looked on with a confused expression on his face.

"Hey, Darcy, can you explain what is going on here?"

Jonathan whispered into Darcy's ear, ensuring no one else could hear him.

Feeling Jonathan's breath, Darcy blushed and glanced at Jonathan's face near.

"He is the progenitor of monsters. He once stopped the great war between humans and monsters by himself without breaking a sweat. He is practically a god to all the monsters."

Hearing Jonathan's question, Darcy explained, nodding in understanding.

"But it is quite weird that you don't know about the progenitor of monsters, being one yourself."

Darcy looked at Jonathan suspiciously.

"____"

"____"

As Jonathan and Dracula, who had eavesdropped on the conversation with his heightened senses, began to panic, Dracula interjected,

"Oh, Jonney Stane, come; we have a lot of arrangements to make at the party."

Dracula, having momentarily diverted the attention from Jonathan to Leo, was thwarted as Jonathan once again seized the spotlight.

Dracula inwardly cursed Jonathan but maintained a clear smile on his face.

When Dracula mentions employing Frankenstein's cousin as a party planner, shock spreads across the faces of those present.

It was the first time they had heard of Dracula needing help for anything.

"Okay, honey, Mr. Tight Caffeine over there is planning to let them play music for the party."

Upon hearing that Jonney would be planning the birthday party, Wayne werewolf gestured towards the zombies dressed like governors from Pirates of the Caribbean.

"So, we thought we could spice things up a bit."

Frank pulled Wayne and Murrey the mummy by their shoulders and looked at Jonney with expectation.

Upon hearing the plans of the three, Dracula regarded them with dead eyes.

"Wooo... you all can play. Then let's check things out."

As the three revealed their intention to play a song, Jonney became interested and asked them to perform immediately.

"Jonny is right; you guys play, and I will listen too."

Seizing the opportunity, Leo placed his hands on Wayne's shoulder and gave his approval. Other monsters also expressed interest in listening to their performance.

Sigh...

Observing his successful attempt to shift the situation, Leo breathed a sigh of relief.

"It seems like you succeeded in your try."

Witnessing Leo's efforts, Mavis nudged him with a smirk.

After a few seconds, the stage was prepared.

Frank and Murray stood before the mic, each holding a guitar, while Wayne sat near the piano and Griffin positioned himself with the band.

The music began, and Frank started to sing.

{ Girl

I can't believe it's your big night

It seems like only yesterday you were eating mosquitoes

But now you're eating frogs and mice

Scarfing them down like Doritos

Tell me

Where did the time go, girl?

Girl

It seems like 2 days ago, you were eating scorpions, snakes, and birds

Then, you're sucking the blood from out the cow

Gulping up like Diet Coke

So, tell me

Where did the time go, girl?

Ooooohhhhhh...

Girl...

... }

"Wo... woooo.. woooo... hold on, guys. Uh... that's cute, but it's kind of old school."

Interrupting the performance of the four, Jonney expressed his opinion.

"Yeah, thank you, Jonney."

Thinking that Jonney was supporting his decision, Dracula thanked him.

"You guys need to pick up the tempo."

Jonny advised them, leaving them perplexed.

"Most of the monsters cut their connection with the human world, so they're kind of stuck in the old fashion."

Observing the awkward situation, Leo stepped in and explained things to Jonney.

"Then let me show you. Werewolf man, give me a jam."

Jonny went to the stage and took the guitar.

Jonny started to play the guitar.

{ Two, three, four!

Vampire girl with the fangy fangs

The hair is really cute with the bangy bangs

Little princess going to be a queen, legal bat lady turning 118!

118! (audience.)

Say 118!

118! (audience.)

Yeah, stage dive! }

Darcy looked at Jonney with a slight blush, while other monsters enjoyed the song.

After singing, Jonney attempted a stage dive, but the monsters, unaware of the tradition, moved away from his path, and he fell to the ground with a straight face.

Pull... pull...

While everyone praised Jonney for his innovative idea, a cute wolf puppy, dressed in a gown and pacifier with hair tied on both sides, tugged at Leo's pants.

"____"

"What can I do for the cute lady?"

Leo kneeled to the girl and patted her head.

The...

"Can you play with me?"

The girl asked with big, cute eyes that looked crystal clear.

Hearing their sister invite Leo to play with her, and witnessing her brothers' reaction, Leo looked in shock.

"Wilber, is this Winnie?"

One of the boys whispered to the other in a low voice.

"Yeah, Wade, I doubt it. How can she be this nice to others, apart from father and mother?"

The other, who looked chubby, shook his head in disbelief.

While they murmured in low voices, Winnie turned slowly toward them with a wide smile.

However, her brothers looked terrified and jumped at their father, who was praising Jonney.

"____"

"Well, I will play with you guys."

Leo was stunned, looking at Winnie, who made her siblings run in fear, asking him to play with her with cute eyes.

Leo accepted.

"Then let's play 'Run from Hit.'"

After contemplating for a few moments, Leo came up with an idea.

"What is it? The name looks different."

Mavis asked; it was the first time she had heard of this game.

Dracula, who was only allowed to play bingo at her birthday party all this time, looked intrigued.

"Yeah, I want to know as well."

Murray also raised his hand, eager to play the game Leo suggested.

"Well, it's a human game where one needs to close their eyes with a blindfold and also cover their nose with a thick mask.

They will carry a stick and hit others to their heart's content during the given time. Others have to wear footwear that causes funny noises.

The one with the stick needs to hit them using the sound as a guide."

Hearing that the game was initially played by humans, the monsters gave horrified expressions but later nodded in understanding.

'Why haven't I heard about it?'

Jonathan looked confused at the explanation of the game and expressed his desire to participate along with Darcy.

However, he was unaware that the reason he didn't know about the game was that it was one of the real games played on social media in Leo's previous life.
