When Rikuo stepped outside the Nura clan mansion, he noticed Leo's house before him and stopped in his tracks.

'What? When did a house appear here?'

Looking at the unfamiliar house before him, Rikuo's curiosity was piqued.

He was curious and shocked because, until yesterday, he could clearly remember there was no such house present opposite the Nura clan's mansion.

He had played and explored many parts of the territory around the Nura clan's mansion many times with his Yokai friends who were currently staying in the mansion.

"Rikuo-sama, wait, you have forgotten to take your lunch."

Tsurara ran towards Rikuo in a hurry and handed him his bento.

Hehe~

"Today is a holiday, Tsurara."

Looking at the cute antics of Tsurara before him, Rikuo smiled awkwardly, explaining to her.

"Is that so... then can I accompany you, Rikuo-sama?"

Hearing Rikuo was not going to his school, Tsurara's eyes brimmed with excitement.

"Uh... I... "

Rikuo started to hesitate, seeing Tsurara's excited look on her face, expecting him to nod his head.

'What... what should I do? If Kiyotsugu and Jiro find out Tsurara is a Yokai or my family consists of Yokai, they will hate me... fear me... we won't be friends anymore.'

Thinking about what would happen if his friends found out he was related to Yokai, Rikuo's face turned pale, and he immediately shook his head.

"Sorry, Tsurara... today I promised my friends Kiyotsugu and Jiro I would meet with them, so I can't accompany you today. What about another day?"

Panicking, Rikuo immediately refused and promised he would accompany her another day.

"Is that so..."

Hearing Rikuo's refusal to let her accompany him to meet his friends, Tsurara's mood became low.

"Tsurara, when was a house built here? I remember I didn't notice this house before."

Hearing Tsurara mention how the house appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the night, Rikuo was baffled.

"I don't know the full details, Rikuo-sama, but I heard yesterday that Lord First had declared the owner of the house is an ally, not an enemy."

Looking at the shocked Rikuo, Tsurara shook her head and informed him about Nurarihyon's declaration.

After chatting with Tsurara for a while, Rikuo bid farewell and hurried to meet his friends.

Leo's Mansion...

Both Leo and Mavis were sleeping in the bed while Mavis was in the embrace of Leo.

Swoosh...

When the sun rays started to fall on the windows of the bedroom, the window curtains automatically closed to block the sun rays from disturbing Leo's sleep.

Leo stirred a little and woke up from his sleep and saw Mavis beside him with a wide smile on his face.

'At last, the Virgin war has ended... I shall embrace peace.'

With a victorious smile on his face, which could compete with Joker's charming smile, Leo carefully got up from bed without waking her up.

Yawn~

He went towards the restroom to freshen up and then went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

After some time, Mavis's nose twitched twice. Suddenly, her eyes opened.

Sniff... sniff...

'What is this smell? Is Leo preparing food?'

Mavis looked at the place beside her in the bed where Leo slept, got up from the bed, and exited the room.

"Mavis! Go and freshen up. I have prepared breakfast. I made ramen noodles."

Hearing footsteps from the direction of their bedroom, Leo called out to Mavis.

After preparing the food, Leo placed it on the dining table, waiting for Mavis to arrive.

While waiting, Leo called the system.

Reading the tasks provided by the system, Leo went into deep thought, planning his next step.

Sigh~

Looking at the missions, which seemed like they would take a long time to complete, Leo sighed and waited for Mavis to come.

After breakfast, Leo and Mavis left to explore the town they were in.

Yesterday, they couldn't enjoy looking around and shopping due to it being late at night.

Mavis was so excited to see these things, which were very new to her due to her long period of quarantine.

Looking around the shops and buying things here and there, whatever piqued Mavis's curiosity, and tasting different kinds of foods, etc...

It took a whole day looking around the town and returning to the house when the sun started to set.

After returning, Mavis had a satisfied face while Leo was carrying shopping bags into the house.

"Hey, Mavis, I'm thinking of starting a small business to escape boredom until I complete the work we came here for. It might take long to complete."

Placing the shopping bags he was carrying on the table, Leo informed Mavis about his plan to start a small business in this world.

"Um~ I have not much experience in business. If Father or Uncle Wayne or Uncle Frankenstein were here, they might give you helpful advice."

Listening to Leo, who expressed his idea of starting a small business, Mavis expressed her helplessness.

"It's ok, baby. It was just something small."

Getting permission from his lovely wife, Leo went into deep thought about what type of business he should start.

He came to this conclusion because it might help him to easily integrate into this town and also find an opportunity to increase his fame and influence here on the supernatural side of the world.

When he came out of the house with the thought, he saw Wakana standing outside the gate of the Nura clan, waiting for someone.

"Wakana-san, is there a problem? You look worried."

Leo walked towards Wakana and asked her curiously.

"Oh~ Leo, it's nothing... I was waiting for Rikuo. It's getting late, so I was thinking whether to go look for him."

Hearing Leo's enquiry, Wakana shook her head and explained her worry with a soft smile.

But the worry behind the smile didn't go unnoticed by Leo, who saw her concern for her son in her tone.

Sigh~

"If you are worried about your son coming late, you could send someone from the clan to look for him, right?"

Leo questioned Wakana, seeing her worry, and suggested sending someone in the clan to bring Rikuo back.

"No. Today, Rikuo requested no Yokai to follow him when he went to visit his friends."

Listening to Leo's suggestion, Wakana shook her head and told him about Rikuo's order to the clan Yokai.
