"This is unacceptable!" Mariel shouted with anger. She didn't expect to meet a group of people who would break their promises to her like this. If she were the loser, she would be willing to keep her promise for reducing the price of the goods as agreed with others. However, when the merchants lost, they chose to cancel the agreement. She was filled with resentment, ready to slaughter this group of merchants until dead.
"So what? You're just a student who was lucky enough to beat us. Who would make such a promise to you? You're still a naive, little girl. Lol" the chief of merchant laughed with satisfaction along with his other subordinates. The big man who was defeated had already been taken away.
(I can't stand it anymore. People who take advantage of others and don't keep their promises. My anger is starting to get out of control.)
Beatrix, Mania, and the other elves began to feel that dark magic energy was flowing out of Mariel's body around her, making them guess how serious the situation would be.
"M….Mariel… calm down…" Beatrix tried to warn her friend.
"Don't do anything more than this. Let it go." Mania said.
"Forget it. We'll find another way." the old elf said, trying to resolve the situation.
"Why did you being so arrogant ?!" A young man from the group of merchants walked up to Mariel and grabbed her by the collar, challenging her.
Aaahh!!!!! The man's voice screamed in excruciating pain.
Mariel summoned the Dragon Slayer Sword in her right hand and cut off the young man's arm that was grabbing her collar. Blood gushed out continuously, causing him to lie on the ground and cry out in pain.
"You bastard! This is too much!" the chief of merchant shouted angrily, while other subordinates frantically rushed over to support the amputated man.
Suddenly, the group of merchants stood there, trembling with fear, sweat pouring down their bodies as if they were facing the most terrifying thing in their lives.
Mariel stared at the group of merchants with a cruel gaze. Her blood-red eyes were like those of a venomous snake ready to tear its prey to death. It gave off an extremely terrifying feeling and made them seem to be in a trance and almost stopped breathing.
"This girl is definitely a devil!" The chief of merchant shouted.
"How about killing all of you." Mariel said, with endless dark magic energy circulating around her.
"M-Mariel, stop it!" Mania quickly hugged her from behind, hoping to bring her friend back to her senses.
Mariel seemed to have regained her senses, her anger had reduced, and the dark magic was slowly dissipating, but the red eyes she had been giving to the group of merchants remained.
"Get out of here! If you guys still be here, I will kill you all!" Mariel shouted at the group of merchants in anger.
All merchants immediately ran away from the Elf Village in a hurry, then got into their cars and drove until they were out of sight.
Everyone started to sit in groups and talk after this incident. Mariel kept apologizing because she believed that she was the reason why the village's elves lost an important business partner.
"Don't worry too much. We will try to find new groups to trade goods and materials by ourselves. At least, thank you for your kindness in helping us not to be taken advantage by them." Said by Elder Elf Karim.
Mariel sat and pondered for quite a while, while Beatrix and Mania brainstormed with the other elves about what they had to do next. There were so many raw materials, such as vegetables, fruits, and even important ores used to make basic intermediate weapons. If there was no income this month, the elves would suffer.
"Some of the money of the village saved up was to support my education but I believe that we will definitely find a solution." Mania said.
"But there are so many. If there were a group of people who would buy them, it would be great." Beatrix said.
"That's right! This might be work." Mariel suddenly had an idea when she heard Beatrix's words.
"What is it, Mariel?" her friends asked at the same time.
"Mania or anyone, teleport me to my village." Mariel begged. Then, an elf woman with a high level of magical power immediately warped Mariel's group, including the Elven Elder Karim and herself, to a village that not far from here.
"Mariel, why did you come back so early? And the other two are..." Claudia asked curiously after seeing the five people teleport to the front of their house while Claudia was putting away clothes that were hanging to dry next to the house.
"Mom, can I talk to Master Kehal and the village representatives?" Mariel asked.
"O-Okay, my dear." Claudia replied.
Then, Kehal, Midaran and three other village representatives came to Deric house.
"Huh? Buying materials from the elf village?" Kehal said.
"Yes, it's exactly as I told you." Mariel said.
"You're really making things worse." Deric said.
"I'm so sorry, but I can't stand it and see these elves being taken advantage from merchants." Mariel said with a sad face.
"How much is the normal monthly sales?" Another village representative asked the elf elder Karim.
"About 120 gold." said by the elf elder Karim, explaining the total amount of ingredients available.
"Per a month? It's too cheap, and they even asked you to reduce the price by 40 %. I won't accept this offer!" Kehal said with dissatisfaction towards the group of merchants.
"Can we teleport over to look at the goods and materials?" The village representative asked Kehal and Midaran.
"Alright, let's go together, all of us." Kehal immediately agreed. After that, everyone immediately warped to Mania's village according to the specified magic coordinates.
At the Elf Village, Kehal and the others arrived and went straight to the courtyard where countless kinds of materials such as plants, vegetables, fruits, and minerals were laid out. They were shocked because there were so many of them.
"Are these the ingredients that your village of elves harvests every month?" Kehal asked.
"That's right." a male elf replied.
Kehal consulted with Midaran, another village representative, along with Deric and Claudia, with serious expressions, while Mariel and the others were awaiting the conclusion.
"You have a lot of raw materials. We have decided that we will be happy to sign a trading contract with your elves from this month." Kehal said.
"We are very happy, thank you very much," the Elf Elder Karim replied happily. The Elves were all overjoyed that they had a new business partner.
"120 gold is too low. Let's just agree on 180 gold each month. At least these ingredients will help improve the living conditions of our village. They can also be used as emergency food or distributed to other nearby villages when food is low." Kehal said.
"We are always happy to help you." the other male elven negotiator immediately accepted the offer.
Both of people made a trading sales contract and kept a set of documents, with the Elf Karim elders keeping one and Kehal keeping the other one for himself. Both parties shook hands to indicate that the contract was complete.
"Tomorrow, my village will bring three or four large pickup trucks to transport these goods and raw materials in the morning." Said by Kehal.
"We will prepare all the ingredients for you." the Elf Elder Karim replied, bowing.
"Let's just say this from now on, these two villages will not only do business together, but will also be partners in our army too." Kehal said.
"Thank you very much." said by one of the ELF representatives.
Everything went well, Beatrix hugged her two friends and said goodbye to the other adults before using the teleportation crystal to warp back to her mother's room and they promised to meet again near the start of school, planning to buy books for 3rd year.
As for Mariel, she immediately asked to warp back to the village after everything was finished with others.
"At least, it's good for this village to have more good products stored in the big warehouse." Kehal said, patting Mariel's head affectionately.
"I have to thank everyone very much for helping me and made everything go smoothly." Mariel said, bowing her thanks again.
"It's okay, don't think too much about it." Midaran said with a smile.
"Then we'll left. We need to prepare the pickup truck and the ropes." Said by the other village representatives before saying farewell to everyone.
"Alright, let's go back to our houses. When we have time, let's practice together again, my beloved disciple." Kehal said, glaring at Mariel with a hard gaze.
"I am always ready, Master Kehal." Mariel said with a smile.
As soon as she got back into the house, the phone rang. Claudia rushed to answer it and asked who he was.
"Oh, it's Jerrick. Um… okay, I'll let Mariel know." Claudia replied before hanging up.
"What's wrong?" Mariel asked curiously.
"Your friend, Jerrick just made a called." Claudia said.
"What did he say?" Mariel asked further.
"His family is having a big celebrating party now, so he wants to invite you as a couple. His parents have heard from him about you, and they really want to meet you. I'll go pick out some pretty clothes for my daughter at first." Claudia said, singing in a good mood as she went up to the second floor.
"W-What!!!!" Mariel shouted in surprise.
"My daughter, you're really charming, Lol." Deric said with a loud laugh.
