When she met up with the prince for dinner, he greeted her with a warm smile.

A warm, tight hug, too, actually. Certainly not an unwelcome one, though. Not even truly a surprising one, given he'd just hugged her in her room a short while ago.

...Was she getting too comfortable being hugged by the prince?

She hoped not.

He lingered for a few moments, arms looped around her, and she could hear the faint thump of his heartbeat in her ear when she pressed her head against his shoulder.

Her heart squeezed a little with that realization.

Was the calm, unflappable, elegant Adrien really...nervous?

Around her, of all people?

She'd never known anyone to be nervous around her. Not - not for any reason at all, but especially not for...

Not because they had feelings like what Adrien said he had.
