There was no going back to sleep after a dream like that. She was definitely awake even if it was an ungodly early hour. Even Mia was still snoozing, and Mia was usually awake before her no matter when she got up.

Though it wasn't like Emily hadn't woken up far earlier before, to catch the train back in her own world. And stayed up later the night before, at that.

Compared to the hours she kept as a salarywoman, this was nothing.
