They stood there for a few moments in the midst of the fae festival, while the rest of the fae continued to bustle and mingle, unaware of the Keybearer and her familiar.

It was Merwyn who finally broke the silence, speaking up again cheerfully.

"Alright wifey~!" He patted her back and released her. "Here you are again, in the midst of the grand fae festival~!"

Emily stared at him a little, startled by his abruptness and the return to their typical, casual atmosphere.

"There are soooo many sights to see!"

She blinked and looked around.

It was more than a little overwhelming, dropping her in the middle of the chaotic celebrations when they'd had such quiet intimacy a moment ago.

She always went back to the old faithful 'that's what you can expect from fae'.

This was just one of those moments.
