The first thing they noted as soon as they were able to catch up on what they missed while trapped in that underground maze was that the fae festival was already finished.

That wasn't a surprise, as it'd already been ending when Merwyn decided to go exploring cursed houses in the forest.

But now they definitely had no reason to be staying in the fae realms.

It still wasn't very clear how long they'd been in the house, though. She knew it had to be at least two days, but the amount of time and effort the two rescuers put into finding them...

Neither of them seemed to be aware of how long it took, like neither were paying any attention to it.

Kieran still wore the long and flowing robes that both she and Kieran did for the sake of the festival, though.

Which was odd.

From everything she knew of Kieran, she couldn't understand why he'd still be wearing something so ridiculously inappropriate for his build, role, and personality.
