Reunion

"It's not that simple. There are places that can only be opened by my dad's blood. 

I don't really know how it works, but it could detect if he is dead or not.

If he dies, no one will be able to open that place, making it empty. It will then become first come, first served."

"If the place is that important, wouldn't you have many protections in place to make sure only the leader of your family can access it?"

"Yes, Caeli, but the location is known to all senior members of the family just in case something happens. 

So if he really dies, I am sure they will start an all-out war to enter the place."

"Can you tell us what is inside?" Mara asked as she felt that was the crux of the problem.

"I honestly don't know. My father doesn't tell me much about it. 

There are many rumors—a source of power, an elixir of immortality, but my father says it's only the history of our family origin."
