A Short Reunion

Aine pointed her gun toward the eldritch's face, and then, at point-blank range, she shot. This time, there was no circle on the barrel; instead, it shot out a huge blast that looked like a laser.

"Maybe yes, for now, but so what!? I will make sure to come for you in the future."

"Kekekeke, my name is R'lyssath. Come find me if you dare. I challenge you." An otherworldly, crazed voice came out from the explosion.

As the blast dissipated, there was nothing left other than black ashes and murky violet fog.

"Do you think I will let you escape that easily? Even though this is nothing more than your avatar, you still dropped a piece of your soul here." Aine's eye started to glow as her hand moved forward, touching the fog.

The moment she made contact, the fog didn't feel like air; it felt like a weird solid object. Her hand then let out a purplish glow. It danced in the air, creating a magic circle.
