Trouble

I climbed down from the car and I tried to break a smile to clear the air of formality that stood between Elvis and I, but he was not taking smiling as an option.

"Would you like to have breakfast now miss?." The maid asked me.

"Uhm, no thank you, not now." I said to her.

" I'm so sorry but Master Lycan instructed me, strictly, that you must eat after you wake up. Please have breakfast, I don't want to loose this job." She told me.

" He's not going to fire you because I didn't eat breakfast." I said with a small smile.

" He would fire me and the cook and maybe even Trevor. I'm pleading on behalf of all of us." She said, she was serious and I was afraid that she would start to cry.

" I'll have breakfast now." I told her.

"Thank you, God bless you." She said to me and almost immediately two other maids carrying trays layed down a meal that was impossible to finish in two hours.

"I'm afraid that Lycan is loosing his mind... He's gone crazy over you." Elvis said.

I turned to look at him, hearing the words, you would think it was a compliment, but seeing his face I realized that it was very very far from a compliment.

The fork almost fell from my fingers.

"Huh?." I asked him in confusion.

"His mother thinks that you're some kind of a witch that has casted a spell on him using black magic, maybe you're a mage." He said.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"Trust me, I know nothing of magic..." I started to say when he sharply cut me off.

"What do you want, how much?." He asked me.

" What?. " I asked because I was slightly getting the impression that he thinks I'm a gold digger.

" Let's say ten million for a start, ten million to leave Lycan." He said.

" Who do you think I am?." I felt insulted to the guts.

" Okay fine, I'll double it, no I'll triple it, thirty million dollars, just walk away and I'll give it to you... Or I could give you the money first and then you'll leave." He said.

" Please leave." I said to him.

" Kaya... His mother wouldn't just let any kind of girl ruin her son's life. We've done research on you, you were engaged to a Mr Marcus, he called off the wedding because you were so fucked that you couldn't stay away from sex and he was lucky he didn't walk down the aisle with you." My eyes widened in shock.

Who was feeding him these lies?.

" You're wondering how I know all these right, You had a friend that testified that you've been stripping because you enjoy men touching you... I can't go deeper on the things she said about you but it's no doubt that she's telling the truth." Elvis said with a frown that would scare away angels and a disgusted look in his eyes, to him I was trash.

" Gabby..." I whispered to myself. What did I ever do to her to deserve this?. All these things that Elvis was saying about me broke my heart. I felt tears at the corner of my eyes.

"You don't know me." I said to him.

He saw my tears and he laughed.

"Your little innocent act don't fool me Kaya. Waving your blonde hair, big blue eyes... Nice figure. You're using your pretty privileges and I don't blame Lycan for falling for your trap he's a playboy, a certified fuckboy, when he's done with you I'm sure he's going to throw you where he threw the other girls that came before you, in the trash so it's better you take thirty million and walk away now with benefits." He said.

" Elvis please leave, I don't want to talk to you anymore." I said forcing food into my mouth, I had no appetite and I felt like spitting the food out, the only reason I swallowed was because it was a delight.

"Kaya, would you fucking listen to me, I'm not going to let you disgrace Lycan. He has a huge responsibility, he runs the whole country and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the paparazzis catch up on your relationship with him, I'm not leaving here till I watch you walk out myself, do you understand!. " he yelled.

I was shaking in my seat, scared of what he would do to me. It was almost certain that he would harm me.

I stood up, I was about to lock myself in my room. He held my hand and he pulled me backwards.

"Elvis, you're hurting me." I told him.

He held my hands tighter on purpose and he started to wring it like it was laundry.

"Elvis!." I said sharply.

"This is just nothing, nothing compared to what I'm prepare to do to you." He whispered.

"Please stop..." I begged.

"Name your price now, I'll give you two hundred and thirty million, say yes and it's yours." He said.

"You're going to be so dead when Lycan sees these hand prints on my wrist." I told him.

There was a two seconds pause.

He left my hand, my wrist felt dislocated. I couldn't turn it, the skin around it was red.

"Lycan can't know of this, do you hear me, if you tell him I would bury you in a place that no one is ever going to find you. Keep your hands covered with something." Elvis said, he was so close to my face. I didn't need anybody to tell me that he would carry out his threats.

But he was very scared of Lycan, I imagine what would have happened if I didn't threaten him.

He stomped out of the house. I ran to my bedroom and I locked the doors and I cried. I was torn between leaving again and staying with him. Maybe, if I told Lycan, Elvis wouldn't be able to do anything to me.

I buried my hand in my elbow and I was lost in thoughts. There was someone knocking on the door.

"Kaya." The voice called and my heart throbbed.
