Ronald's point of view
Hamburglar has been pretty quiet since I drowned that kid in the balls. I'm hoping that one small act of violence doesn't make him back out of this whole mission. He has to know that there's going to be more pain inflicted than one life.
"You need to pull it together."
I can see his eyes through his black mask watching me.
"You didn't say anything about harming children." He nearly hiss the world children at me, and I knew he was upset.
I nod. "If you draw the line at children, then we'll harm no more children."
He nods.
I watch as he nervously plays with his red tie. Hamburglar was a character, his outfit makes him stand out from his black and white jumpsuit and his big black hat.
Hamburger and I hid away in the back in the storage area at McDonald's. In the storage closet, where they keep extra Happy Meal toys and condiments, things that need to be shelved and not refrigerated.
After the drowning incident in the ball pit, I walked around outside in the parking lot. I want the news cameras to see me. Every time there's a murder at McDonald's, I want Ronald McDonald to be in the film, the coverage. I want to see how long it takes them to make the connection.
Night time falls quickly, and I notice less people eating in the dining area. Many go through the drive through for a late night snack. Many employees were in and out of the back for numerous things. Hamburglar and myself had to keep moving around to go unnoticed.
Then my eyes spotted a young woman, she was in her early twenties, if I had to take my best guess. Witty smiling and laughing as she entered the back and the other employee stayed in the lobby.
My eyes watch her as she looks around the boxes and storage. She was obviously restocking things I watch as she grabs more straws, napkins, cups. I hum "Ba da ba ba ba."
She looks around, not scared, and I see the smile on her face. She clearly thinks this was a joke.
"Stop messing around."
I laugh, my friendly clown laugh. The only laugh I knew how to laugh.
I step out, revealing myself. And to my surprise, I still see that she's smiling. I know I was once a figure who brought happiness to too many people before I was forgotten.
"Really Ronald?"
I cock my head to the side and revealed an evil smirk.
"All right Josh, John, which one of you is it?
My feet step towards her, my big red shoes pressing deep into the floor. The closer I got, the more shocked she became. Her eyes analyzing me and watching my every move.
I grab her neck in my hand, and lift her into the air. Her body flares around frantically, and I smile at the sound of her choking and gagging.
"P…p.. please," she managed to get the words out.
"Please doesn't work today, darling." My hand squeezed tighter until her body went limp, then I tossed her on the ground.
I turn around to see Hamburglar watching us, his eyes wide and his mouth dropped open. He better get into this, because this is only a victim number two.
