Chapter Nine

1 month later

The world spins. My whole body feels shaky, I feel sick.

"Ronald, I think you're becoming sick without your medicine."

I nod. "Just one more kill, and we'll be back in McDonaldland, and I'll have my medicine and everything will be fine.

He swallows hard."Why one more kill?"

I know there was truth in his words. The number of people we have harmed has already exceeded my expectations. We can go home now, and it would be a job well done.

The biggest compliment was killing a big corporate boss. She had probably the worst death, the most agonizing that I would say. I locked her in the freezer, where she fully froze to death. The freezers were big and heavy, and made of steel. Nobody can hear anything in them. That's why they're designed not to lock when they shut. I guess they weren't smart enough not to leave their steel chairs and tables in the same area. Nothing I put in front of the door can be pushed through by anyone.

The police know now they are searching for a clown. All the employees told them they saw a clown push Kim into the french fries fryer.

I look at my arm as it starts shaking, and putting my head back, I fight through the headaches. Horrible headaches. My vision is even fuzzy at times.

"It's not worth it Ronald."

"Look Hamburglar, I say what's worth it." He was really getting on my nerves, so I yelled at him. Not caring about his feelings or how he felt. He hasn't helped with one murder. He didn't even help pull the handle on the box press. I gave him such an easy task, and the big idiot couldn't even do that.

He watches me not saying a word.

"You've been worthless this whole entire ordeal anyway,I don't even want you here."

"I can't believe you just said I was worthless." I see a tear sliding down his face.

"Well you were, so just go. Go back home, and do nothing but steal hamburgers, like you always did."

I watch as he slowly slips out of view.
