Before she could answer him a sharp movement in her stomach had been felt by both of them.
"What was that?" he asked.
"It seems like I'm pregnant again," she said in wonder. "Maxixe, I think your daughter just kicked us."
Maxixe looked amused as he rolled off her and reverently caressed Kaoma's stomach. "Why do you think it's a daughter even better, were you aware that you were pregnant?"
"Come to think of it, I can't tell when last I had my monthly" she pointed out, "I had an idea but I kept ignoring the feeling because there were other more pressing things to worry about. Now that I know my sister is out of harm's way I feel like half my stress is gone and maybe the baby feels that way too. You know, that now is a good time to make its presence felt."
"No better time than the present, that's true," agreed Maxixe quietly as he held his hand warmly against her bare stomach.
"Are you happy about becoming a father again?" Kaoma whispered.
