Raymond was silent. So that was how she saw it. Of course, she would never imagine that he would fall so madly in love with her. But for him to come this far in saving her, she had to at least have a little clue about it, right?
And if she didn't have a single clue then he would say she was more clueless than he ever imagined.
"No, it's not." Raymond answered. "How about we sign a new contract when we get back? Are you up for it?"
"As long as I can be of use to you, I will sign whatever contract you give me to sign. I'd love to be by your side for a far longer period so please, do take care of me."
Her words took Raymond's breath away. Why were they sounding very gullible when he knew clearly that she wasn't gullible?
It sounded so much like she would sign any contract given to her by anyone, except, she wouldn't. She would only sign the ones he gave. And she was willing to do whatever he wanted, no matter what it was.
