"Can't you just hire a babysitter?" Jane advised and Alexa looked up. That was actually a good idea but she wasn't so sure about the idea. She loved her daughter too much to hand her over to a complete stranger.
Of course, Rachael would be able to notice if her babysitter was acting strange or not. Yet, she couldn't help but worry since even with all that smartness, she was still a child.
"Come on, don't think too much about it. You can just look for a babysitter with a reputable reputation to look over Rachael for one day. It's one day, right?" Alexa nodded. "Then what are you hesitating for? Turn to the internet right this moment."
Alexa felt uneasy with the idea of hiring someone off the internet and asked,
"Don't you have anyone you can recommend for me?"
"I don't have kids, why would I… ?" She paused, having remembered something. "There's this lady who my aunt hired to babysit my baby cousin a few times. I think she's trustworthy enough."
