edit,   So finally, and truly, Jason was part of the rebel groups. I covered my mouth to ensure this gasp did not escape from my mouth. Jason knew about my missing mum for all these while he kept it from me as a secret. What surprised me the most was the fact that all that Jason said to me was new. I had not heard that from anybody, not even from Jeremy.

  I came out of the room and left him lying on the floor. However, I locked him in the secluded room and dropped the key on his body. I did this because he might get hurt if I allowed him to be accessible. Just as I turned around, I stumbled upon a figure in front of me. He was Jeremy. He stood in front of me with his hands in his pocket.

  “What are you doing here?” I asked Jeremy, gritting my teeth.

  “Where is Jason?” He asked, stretching his neck over my shoulders.

  “Why are you bothered about him?” I asked him with creasing brows, blocking his view on my toes.
