edit,   Without hesitation, I turned around just in time to catch a glimpse of dark figures in black dresses sneaking out from the shadows. My instincts screamed danger, and before I could comprehend the threat, an arrow sliced through the air towards me. Swiftly, I dodged to the side, feeling the rush of air as the deadly arrow passed by my head.

  My heart palpitated in my chest as I assessed the situation. If I had not learnt this skill from Douglas then I would be dead by now. I startled and balanced only to see the black rogues, their faces masked with black veils. I was out of choice, and there was no time to think. Instinct took over as I sprinted away, weaving through the trees with the agility that Douglas taught me.
