Chapter 82

  It was in the morning, the students were on the school field training for the next phase of the competition when I walked up to the school field. The proprietor was on the field too having some discussion with Nikki.

  As I walked by, murmurs from the students followed me like flies. Some were pointing hands at me in a taunt, while the majority were mocking me for losing my fame for Nikki. But then, I turned deaf ears to their taunts and headed up to Jeremy, who was now teaching some young girls how to flip.

  "Hey, Jeremy!" I called his name. He chuckled and left the girls for me. "Some minutes, please!" He stated.

  "Hi, Amaya! Just got information about Nikki. She must have lost her memory some years ago." Jeremy broke out vividly with full energy.

  "What gave you such assurance, Jeremy?" I asked him looking at him through the lashes. Jeremy signaled at a girl among those whom he was training, and the girl walked forward with her hand clasped behind.
