Blood splashed out like a wave as a figure was completely split into two from the head, his two sides falling to the ground, much to the horror of the other death soldiers.
Like a flickering shoulder, another one had his throat split open before he could even blink, but Khan was already unto the next one as he kept slashing his dagger that cut through the entire group like a knife through butter.
"PIERCE"
Khan felt a long spear-like weapon pierce into his stomach but he immediately used that as an opportunity as he arrived before the dead soldier slashing at his neck and killing him with a slash.
Slashing the edges of the spear with his daggers, his daggers entered back into his sleeves he grabbed the edges of the daggers before kicking a death soldier in his chin sending him upwards.
It was like a sled hammer slashed on Keiro's face as he felt sent into the air, his head spinning, but before he could come back to focus, he felt a figure in the air sitting on him.
PUCHI
PUCHI
PUCHI
PUCHI
Hundreds of times, the end stick of the weapon was pierced onto his head as his brain was pierced, his body convulsed mid-air before he finally fell to the ground, his head reduced to mere brain juices and red blood.
A kick slammed on another death soldier's neck, completely severing its hold on his neck.
Jumping upwards and rolling in the air, the dagger once again slipped out of his sleeves as he slashed out once more severing another death soldier.
The blood on the ground already formed a small pool, filled with bits of different organs as a horrifying battle broke out.
The death soldiers finally witnessed the power of the one called Hollow.
It was true. He never felt emotion not even pain as never had he once even winced when something pierced into his body.
He had been pierced countless times yet he never blinked using every attack to kill the attacker quickly.
Blood splashed around as he harvested souls yet his eyes never blinked for once, nor did his hands quiver at all. His decisions were firm, his opponents fell with only a single attacker and he seemed to go on and on as if he could go on forever.
Just who? Just who raised this abomination?
3 minutes later...
A young man stood on the ground, around him the mutilated body of countless others.
White smoke puffed out from Khan's mouth as the core within him undulated, barely stopping him from collapsing on the ground.
But he regained his wits as he pushed down his exhaustion to continue running when suddenly he stopped before he could even take a step forward as he felt a voice echoing out from behind him.
"What have you become, my son..." Those words sent so much fear into Khan that his heart almost leaped into his throat.
Yet he clenched his teeth as madness appeared in his eyes.
"It's all or nothing..." Gathering the last bit of whatever energy was within him...
BOOOOM
Khan appeared before the figure as if having teleported as his dagger slashed at its neck wanting to sever it in a single blow.
CLANG
Even though the blade made contact, it immediately shattered into pieces on coming into contact with the red-colored neck and before Khan's wide-open eyes, it faded to dust.
'It is hopeless...' Khan thought as he fell weakly on his knees his head bowed as he accepted his fate.
"You seem to have grown stronger, son. Normally, in the past, this would have made me feel pride but now I'm seriously considering if I've raised a criminal or a perfect soldier..." The voice echoed out to him as it slowly bent to his knees. It was a figure whose face was clad in a demon-faced mask and wore a red-black kimono robe.
His voice was incredibly deep at least the deepest Khan had ever heard and just kneeling before him gave Khan the impression he was standing before a god. His increase in strength only makes him feel even more terror of the man.
This was his master, Oni-sama. And truly, Khan believed he was a god!
"Your heart has gotten weak, my son, and you have suddenly become afraid of death. When did you become so weak..." A rectangular device was brought out of his hands as Khan struggled to raise his head and saw the image of him fighting the Night Werewolf.
'No wonder they found me so quickly. I knew that would be a disaster...' He thought mockingly. In the end, his act of being a hero was what got him killed. How ironic.
"I had great plans for you Khan, truly great plans as I've made up my mind to turn you into me..."
"What!?"
"I've planned to turn you into a blood demon like me. I've ingrained all my art into you since when you were young, carefully raising you.
It filled my eyes with pride every time I saw you grow stronger. Every time you slowly escaped the mundane grasp of such things as emotions. Every time you got close to being truly free. I was simply waiting for you to reach your body's fullest potential, then I'll impart my demon cultivation techniques to you and finally get rid of your inability to cultivate like others..." He said his huge palms grasping tightly on Khan's soldier and Khan felt the pain in his voice too.
"I will repeat once again, Khan. Evil or good, are all the otherworldly force that threatens to rule a man. They'll only turn you into their slaves in the end. Slave to evil or slave to righteousness, I have raised you to choose none of them.
When you truly are beyond their grasp, then you'll finally achieve your full potential and you'll finally be ready to take my place. But you have disappointed me, Khan," Oni said slowly rising as he brought out his katana from the side and dragged it out of its sheath.
It was a katana with red and dark colors mixed while a picture of a demon could be seen drawn all over it.
Instantly the world seemed to have been drowned in a tempest of blood and killing intent as the entire area gained an illusion as if it had become a sea of blood.
"Remember Khan, emotions, Evil, Good, they're all nothing but otherworldly force meant to confine you. When you truly break out of their control, then you'll be free and become a perfect being like me..."
The blade slowly ascended into the air as Khan closed his eyes accepting his death while mumbling his last words...
"Emotions, Evil, Good, they're all nothing but otherworldly force meant to confine you. When you truly break out of their control, then you'll be free and become a perfect being like me..."
The blade ascended higher and higher into the air but before it could be swung down, something flashed by so fast it already disappeared into the distance in the next split second and Khan was nowhere to be found.
