"How laughable," Khan replied, even though he had no visible expression on his face. He had thought that there was some hope for humanity, judging by the amount of resources that each Island donated.

But who would have guessed that in those simple donations, there were still various ploys going on underneath. Everything was perhaps just a big lie.

The God's Island City, which donated the largest amount, never wanted the Universal Federation Group to use it and are planning on retrieving back what they already donated, as if when the Abyssal Creatures strike, they would be saved by keeping their Nanosuits in their various Warehouses.

And now the Universal Federation Group was risking its life trying to find energy cores which the God's Island possessed enough of. It was so doubtful some sort of damage would be incurred on the mission.
