I am currently sat with Ancelotti and Luis in my office and Luis is about to give me a report as over the past few weeks Luis has been busy settling the transfer business of players we intend to add and let go and he is back to give me the feedback on the transactions carried out

" I was able to secure the transfer of both Marquinhos from Roma for £ 30 million, Eriksen from Ajax for £ 13.5 million, Griezmann from Real Sociedad for £ 25 million, Cancelo from Benfica for £ 5 million, Shaw from Southampton for £ 15 million, Guerreiro from Caen for 2 million, Rodri on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid, Kante on a free transfer totaling £ 90.5 million in transfer fees and also our total amount spent during this window totals £106.45 million " he provided us information about our incoming transfer 

"The players purchased are up to par I have reservations about Kante but I will hold out judgment till the season begins" Ancelotti said

"That is all I ask of you. What about our Outgoings" I asked him 

"well we have let go of a good number of players Ben Amos was sold to Cardiff for 1 million, Sam Johnstone was sold to Burnley for 200K, Phil Jones was sold to Everton for 15 million, Johnny Evans was sold for 13 million to stoke, Michael Keane was sold for 500k to west ham, Evra was sold to Juve for 6 million, Buttner was sold to Psv for 3.5 million, Rafael was sold to PSG for 15 million, Fabio was sold to Fulham for 4 million, cleverly was sold to Arsenal for 10 million, Anderson was sold to Getafe for 3 million, Kagawa was sold to Dortmund for 8 million, Bebe was let go on a free transfer, Welbeck was loaned to Arsenal with a buy out clause of 10 million, Chicharito was sold to Sevilla for 13 million, Macheda was let go on a free transfer, Januzaj was loaned out to Antwerp for the season and James Wilson was let go on a free transfer totaling 102.2 million in outgoing transfers which means we made a net loss of £ 4.25 million in our transfer operations " he laid out our transfer operations carried out. 

I was surprised by how much the players were sold for I was expecting some of this players to be sold for less I asked Ancelotti on his thoughts on the current outlook of the squad 

"our current players in the squad is sizable for the goals of the club we won't win the premier league but we can certainly qualify for the champions league and at least get to the quarterfinals of the Champions League this year" He said While looking at the list of players at the club
