At the heart of the Squad 4 barracks, Captain Retsu Unohana can be found going over the two deceased captains in an autopsy room.
Starting with Tousen, she began to find his cause of death a little strange.
While blood loss was indeed the cause of death, losing 100% of his blood from the injuries that he had at the time of his death just did not add up.
On the side of Aizen, everything seemed to be inline with what they had assumed, being impaled through the heart.
However the more she examined, the more something just felt unreal about the body.
Everything about it told her that it is what she can see, but something deep inside screamed at her that something was wrong.
Unable to make any further conclusions, Captain Unohana began to finish up the autopsy and report her findings to the Head Captain.
'This gnawing feeling at the back of my mind is disturbing though.' She thought with a frown as she left the autopsy room.
Locking the room as she left, Captain Unohana made her way out of the 4th Squad barracks.
'First the inconsistencies with Kaname Tousen, then the wrongness of Souske Aizen… Just what is going on.' On her journey towards the Squad 1 barracks, her thoughts couldn't stop coming back to what she found.
Suddenly all the hairs on the back of her neck stood up and a chill went down her spine, A teasing melodic voice whispered in her ear.
"Ne, Killer-chan~ Don't you think it's strange that two captains are dead, a third being a suspect and all central 46 cares about is the execution of one little seated officer~?"
Hearing what the voice whispered in her ear sent a shock through her mind, with all that has been going on with the invaders to the death of two captains she had briefly forgotten about that small detail.
Why is Central 46 so adamant about this execution that it would first move up the date when the Ryoka invaded and secondly, the death of two captains was basically being ignored in favour of the execution continuing.
"Heh~ Looks like you're beginning to ask the right questions~ Here's a hint, what we can see and feel isn't always what's really in front of us~" The voice whispered in her other ear.
Captain Unohana felt as if she was struck by lightning.
'Is she implying that the bodies aren't what they seem? Is that what my instincts were trying to tell me!?' As her thoughts were in disarray, one snapped to the forefront.
'Who is able to sneak so close to me that they're able to catch me off guard?!'
Snapping her left and right trying to find where the voice was coming from, she found nothing, she could feel no other spirit energy nearby.
"Who are you, why are you telling me these things while remaining hidden? Are you a Ryoka?" The shocked Captain called out to the empty walkway around her.
Getting no reply, she stood in place as her mind raced through different scenarios unsure of what to do.
"Ne, Killer-chan~ Why are you all confused? Just go ask Central 46 yourself~" The whispering voice taunted in her ear again causing her to flinch as she still could not sense anyone else around her.
'Sigh, Even though I feel like I'm being lead by the nose, I can't help but feel that what she's suggesting is the best way to get answers as soon as possible.' Coming to this conclusion, Captain Unohana changed the direction she was going and made her way towards the Central 46.
If she had looked up, Unohana would of seen a young red-headed girl in a fox mask that appeared to be seated in the air with her chin resting on her palm, idly swinging her legs back and forth.
As she made it to the entrance of Central 46 she noticed that it was in lockdown. This brought a frown to her face as Central 46 going into lockdown should of been made known to all Captains and Lieutenants.
Not only that, communication in and out of Central 46 was impossible while it was in lock down.
So why was it that all Captains and Lieutenants received orders not even two hours ago to be present at the execution of Rukia Kuchiki at noon.
This was setting alarms off in her mind, hardening her resolve Unohana unsheathed her Zanpaktou and sliced through the barricaded door.
The rising tension she had been feeling ever since the voice whispered in her ear, spiked even higher as no alarm was heard at her break in.
This only cemented what she had already suspected, someone has done something to Central 46.
With a quick Flash Step she appeared at the main hall where all the meetings took place.
What she found sent that rising tension into overdrive.
The decaying bodies of all members of Central 46 were seated with no sign of a struggle, this sent alarm bells off in her mind.
'Who could of killed every single member without tipping off the others that something was wrong, it's as if they… couldn't see… or hear what was going on around them…' Her mind was racing a mile a minute.
'The whisperer said that what I can see isn't what is always real… Was she talking about Aizen and how I had the feeling that something was wrong?'
Snapping out of her thoughts at the sound of footsteps approaching, she looks towards the hallway leading to the living quarters.
Two silhouettes slowly came into her to vision as the footsteps grew louder.
"Oh? Captain Unohana, I wonder what brought you to Central 46 today?" A serene voice called out to her.
"Hey Captain Aizen, finding someone surrounded by dead bodies is a little suspicious no?" A teasing voice said to the first.
The two silhouettes made their way out of the shadows and revealed themselves.
A tall brown haired man with a kind face that wore glasses, a Captains haori was draped across his shoulders with the number 5 on the back.
Next to the first man was a silver haired man, his eyes squinted closed and a teasing smirk on his lips, the man also had a Captains haori draped across his shoulders with the number 3 on it.
Seeing the two in front of her caused Unohana to calm down slightly, though she raised her guard and ask.
"Capt- No you two are no longer a Captains, traitors Souske Aizen and Gin Ichimaru. Why are you here in Central 46 with dead bodies that seem to be weeks old? And why did you fake your death after killing Kaname Tousen?"
Watching the reactions of the pair in front of her, she is surprised to see their confusion.
This sent her mind back towards the voice that whispered to her. 'Did that person set this up somehow? But why?'
"You didn't kill him did you… You meant to fake your death but not in such a way…"
"Oh? Kaname is dead? And people believe I did it?" Aizen mused aloud.
"Hmm, no matter. While I'm interested in who staged that scene, it's of no consequence. Kaname, while he had his uses, isn't a detrimental pawn to lose this early."
"… Pawn?" Hearing this made Unohana's eyes grow wide. "He was one of the traitors as well then?"
"Yes, from the beginning actually." Aizen calmly explained, before all of sudden he was holding his own corpse.
"What?!" Unohana was shocked at the sudden appearance of the body.
"You see apart from Gin, Kaname has been with me from the beginning.
My Zanpaktou, Kyouka Suigetsu, has the ability of Absolute Hypnosis. Anyone that has seen my sword release falls under the hypnosis.
Sight, smell, touch, sound, even taste, I can make someone see a fly as a dragon or a sword as a body.
It only needs a single activation for someone to trapped by my hypnosis."
The more Aizen talked, the more things started connecting in her mind.
"You said 'see'… Which means someone who is blind wouldn't fall under its effects, I see…"
"Yes, while being set up as the killer of my subordinant is an interesting development, in the end it doesn't matter." Aizen shrugged with a serene smile, as if unbothered by everything going on.
"Captain Aizen, We should leave, it is almost time for what we were waiting for." Gin interupted.
"Yes, you're correct Gin, let us go now. Farewell Captain Unohana, I doubt we will meet again." Aizen said as Gin surrounded them with a white strip of cloth.
"…" Unohana watched as they vanished.
Thinking briefly on what to do next, she started performing a Kido to contact others about this revelation.
With a final swipe of her bloody finger, she pushed her Spirit Energy into the spell.
"Bakudo no.77 Kura Tentei!" Feeling the Kido linking to all her intended targets, Unohana informed them of what she learned.
"To all who can hear my words hear my warning, Traitors Souske Aizen and Gin Ichimaru have murdered the Central 46 and have been plotting behind the scenes for many years to achieve some sort of goal that is now coming to fruition with the execution of Rukia Kuchiki.
Everyone make their way to Sokyoku Hill to confront the traitors.
Things to take note of are his Zanpaktou Abilities, they are…"
+ + + + + + + + + +
Turning back the clock two hours, we find Jasmine watching Unohana's figure grow smaller as she makes her way to Central 46.
"This should fix up the small hiccup I made.
The discovery of that note by Aizens lieutenant which ended with her seeking him out, causing the ice dragon captain to investigate…" pulling her fox mask so it sat on the side of her head, Jasmine tapped her chin in thought before shrugging.
"Mah, i've done enough to fix this shit, let's go watch the protaganist be a knight saving a princess~"
With a blur of her surroundings, Jasmine finds a nice seat on a tree branch over looking the Execution grounds.
"Just in time~ I wish I had some popcorn though." She watches as Rukia is slowly raised up to the execution stand.
As the Sokyoku was unsealed Jasmine was a little surprised.
"Heh~ While a little impressive, it's still only about as strong as a Divine Origin weapon, it's got nothing on my Sister though~"
'HMPH! Of course This Princess is better than that brainless bird!' Her Zanpaktou agreed arrogantly.
"Yes, Yes, Noroi-chan is amazing~" Jasmine teased.
'Hmph!' Was all she heard in response.
"Hehe~"
As the Sokyoku went to strike Rukia, it was halted by an Orange haired Shinigami with a large khyber knife shaped sword.
"Oh?" Jasmine mused aloud with a raised eyebrow.
"How did no else pick up on his Spirit Energy spiking that high as he blocked that strike, while chaotic and unstable it was at the minimum around the late Divine Soul Realm in terms of raw power."
Watching Ichigo act so arrogantly as he faced off against the other Lieutenants before confronting Rukia's brother made Jasmine shake her head a little in exasperation.
"Stupid brat is on a power trip after unlocking his Bankai and blocking the Sokyoku."
With her legs swinging back and forth, her chin resting in her palm Jasmine watched Ichigo release as Bankai for the first time.
Jasmine was feeling a little bored with the whole thing.
"Sigh, I hope future missions will be more challenging. Maybe those other faction reincarnators will provide some more interesting fights." Jasmine lamented.
'We could always just go kill Aizen and that Quincy guy and throw this place for a loop~' Her Zanpaktou words sounded like a devil whispering on her shoulder.
"…"
"You know why we aren't doing that Noroi, this is Yoru-chan's world. While we will assist if she asks for it, we wont make any big changes that could affect her in a potentially negative way." Jasmine explained.
'Hmph, I know Idiot Master, It was just a suggestion...'
"Hmmm" Jasmine hummed in acceptance as she watched Ichigo's fight with Byakuya come to an end.
"The grand finale is coming up, not long till we can return home~"
Feeling the subtle shift in Spirit Energy around the top of Sokyoku Hill, Jasmine watched on apathetically as Aizen and Gin arrived with a swirling white cloth.
Moments later a second cloth swirled and revealed Whip Sword guy and Rukia, along with someone she didn't recognise.
"Oh? So even without Tousen there was a contingency in place to bring Rukia where he needed her~" Jasmine observed before something tried connecting to her spiritually.
"Hmm? That must be that telepathic message, whatever, I already know the basics of what it wants to say… no need to bother with it."
Jasmine continued to watch on as Aizen halts Ichigo's all out strike with his finger with a smirk.
"Ahh, If I get a chance in the future I'm doing that to someone for sure."
'… Idiot Master.' Jasmine could almost feel her Zanpaktou shaking her head at her.
Soon after Ichigo was almost cut in half, Jasmine could feel the other Captains and Lieutenants converging on Sokyoku Hill.
Watching on as Aizen basically manhandle the other Captains left Jasmine shaking her head.
"Sigh, Kyouka Suigetsu is such a cheat ability."
Their confrontation came to a close as the sky above Sokyoku Hill cracked apart filled with Menos Grande and a large yellow eye, two yellow beams then fall around both Aizen and Gin and slowly the earth beneath them starts to rise.
"Halt!" The Head Captain ordered. "That light is called Negacion, the Menos use it to rescue each other.
The moment that light envelops something it's all over, they're in a different world and there's nothing we can do.
Anyone who has ever fought a Menos before knows, that the moment that light came down Aizen was beyond our reach."
A tense silence filled the clearing that was only broken up by the moans and yells of the menos peaking out of the crack in the sky.
"Why Aizen?" Asked Ukitake.
"To reach greater Heights." Was the immediate response.
"Have you fallen so far Aizen?!" Ukitake Shouted in anger.
"Don't kid yourself Ukitake." Aizen retorted condescendingly as he slowly removed his glasses.
"No one has ever stood atop the heavens before.
Not you, nor I.
Or even the gods.
But the unbearable vacancy of heavens throne ends now.
From now on… I will stand at the top."
Looking down at the Shinigami below, he slicked his hair back as the platform of earth he was standing on continued to rise toward the sky.
"Good bye Shinigami.
Good bye Ryoka Boy, you were interesting, for a human.
For the little fly buzzing around that tried to set me up with Kaname's murder, I wish you would stop hiding… Or is it that you are afraid to face me?"
Without warning everyone is slammed to the ground, the Negacion that was separating the two traitors shattered.
A terrifying bloodlust assaulted everyone's senses.
'Master…' Noroi was a little concerned as she felt a shift inside as Jasmine's mind blanked for a moment.
Her energy violently erupted and drowned the whole Seireitei with a soul crushing pressure, for what felt like hours no one could move an inch or make a sound.
It slowly started easing up enough so that she doesn't kill everyone as Jasmine became lucid once again.
"An ant dares to mock This Princess?!" Her ice cold voice could be heard for miles.
