Strange Pokémon

Walking out of the forest, the rolling mountains of [Mt. Chien] also thoroughly reflected in Aisha's eyes.

"We've reached the world's highest peak - 'Mt. Chien'!"

Standing at the place where the mountain range and the forest were linked, Aisha also looked around at the nearby field of vision that had steeply opened up due to the lack of shade from the towering and dense trees, and couldn't help but raise his arms to stretch his back.

"Hey?"

Breathing in the air that seemed to be different from the moist air within the forest, Aisha also seemed to have spotted something.

"Isn't that an Aipom?"

Next to him, a purple monkey dragging a palm-shaped tail climbed over the top of a steep mountain wall and disappeared without a trace in a puff of smoke.

"Hey~ Better take a look at the Onix in the distance."

Turning his head, Aisha maneuvered the camera of the live drone again, pointing to a large rock snake that was lazily crouching on top of the mountain pass, sleeping in the warm sun, almost two hundred meters ahead.

"..."

The Onix glanced at Aisha in silence.

This road-blocking snake was probably used to the occasional sight of one or two terrifying erect apes wandering around on [Mt. Chien] carrying some strange Pokémon.

So after saying that he raised his eyes and glanced at Aisha, the Onix lowered his head and went back to sleep where he was.

"Hoo..."

It wasn't long before the behemoth's purr also reached the ears of Aisha and the many water friends watching the live stream.

The live-streaming drone was worthy of being a product of the black technology developed by Silph Co.

Even if Aisha has already completely penetrated into the deep forest, relying on satellite signals to link to the network, it still captures a clear picture in real time, and accurately records the sound of the neighborhood to feed back to the live broadcast room.

The Onix's simple reaction is naturally no exception.

"This Onix is real, trait identified as Stone Head."

"Full marks on the accompanying quiz!"

"Instructor Ai gradually turned into a traveling anchor."

"The anchor is much better looking than Tsondu Legend."

"The scenery of 'Mt. Chien' is really nice... Might as well say that only the zones where wild Pokémon frequent can maintain such a natural and beautiful scenery, usually without a powerful Pokémon's escort are not allowed to enter these places, thanks to the anchor's live broadcast. I was able to enjoy the scenery of the wild Pokémon areas."

"After destroying Beedrills and Fearows, which wild Pokémon colony is Instructor Ai preparing to destroy this time?"

"Now that we're also in the mountains, why don't the Anchor find a Probopass or a Steelix to practice on, they're both 'big' Pokémon anyway."

The water users' places of concern varied.

They were either playing with abstract terriers, lamenting the scenery of [Mt. Chien], or egging Aisha on to cast off earlier.

Aisha ignored some of the pop-ups urging him to provoke the powerful Pokémon and stated his plan.

"Today, our main goal is still to find some wild Pokémon to fight against."

"Leave the rock or ground and steel Pokémon to Azurill, and leave the other Pokémon to Caterpie." Looking towards the two Pokémon that were following him, Aisha also decided on the enemies they each needed to deal with.

"Mimi!"

"Lulli!"

Caterpie and Azurill also made a show of fist-pumping and preparing to make a big mess of [Mt. Chien].

"Char-... Hmm?"

A foot stepped into the mountain path, Aisha, who was still excited, instead stood still, and his expression froze.

"What is it..."

Inexplicably sensing a bit of a strange and bizarre aura, Aisha carried a bewildered expression as he looked around.

The nearby scenery was still a beautiful and pleasant natural landscape, nothing out of the ordinary.

However...

Aisha looked towards the top of the peak of [Mt. Chien] that was covered in snow and frost all year round with a bit of bewilderment, and that place gave him a bit of a feeling that something wasn't quite right... It was as if something bad might happen if he continued toward that side.

"Illusion?"

Aisha shook his head a little.

Caterpie and Azurill had no reaction, which meant that they were probably delusional.

"Probably too tired."

On second thought, this was the first time he had ever done wilderness survival.

After rushing for almost two days yesterday and today, and having physically wrestled a Fearow just now, it was indeed not surprising that his body had some negative effects under exhaustion.

"Charge!"

Unable to help it, the live broadcast had to continue, so Aisha still chose to move forward.

One person and two pets directly mangled into [Mt. Chien] mountain path.

... ...

Ten minutes later, Aisha regretted it.

"Roar..."

A Glalie eerily appeared above the mountain path and blocked Aisha's path with a low roar.

Not only that, snowflakes were strangely falling in the sky.

Now was clearly not the season for snow, so these snowflakes were undoubtedly the product of a Pokémon that possessed the characteristic of Snow Warning, or had used a Snowscape move.

"Glalie?"

Aisha stared intently at this Glalie that was not coming from a good place, and inwardly wondered for the millionth time.

This is not an area where ice-type Pokémon would be active...

[Mt. Chien] is indeed inhabited by Ice-type Pokémon, however, they simply only move and live along the mountaintop, and will not randomly appear in other areas.

Moreover...

"This Glalie isn't quite right."

Aisha noticed some weird cyan color inside this Glalie's eyes in addition to its normal blue color, so much so that it revealed a lost look as if it had been hypnotized and controlled by something.

Moreover, this fellow was staring at him closely, as if it had decided that Aisha was its prey.

"Roar!"

In the next moment, the Glalie spat out a mouthful of Ice Shard and attacked Aisha.

"Mee!"

Caterpie quickly made an Electroweb to defend and caught the enemy's attack.

The Electroweb continued to release, netting in the direction of the Glalie.

The Glalie, however, ate the attack without avoiding it, letting the sparks of the Electroweb on top of its own body as it continued to spit out Icy Wind, mechanically staking out its output and continuously attacking in Aisha's direction.

It was attacking Caterpie and Azurill's trainer specifically...

"Caterpie uses String Shot and Electroweb to cover, Azurill uses Belly Drum followed by Aqua Jet!"

Aisha urgently retreated a few steps back, using Caterpie's protection to dodge the enemy's attack, while commanding Azurill to launch a counterattack.

"Lulli!"

Azurill mobilized her petite body to strengthen her attack power, and then wrapped in a stream of water, she quickly broke through the Glalie's frozen wind that had been weakened by Electroweb, and directly crashed into its body.

However, this Glalie's level was obviously not low, Azurill's attack was not only unable to kill it directly, but this guy also turned his head and bit Azurill with a round of Ice Fang.

Thanks to the Glalie's speed being reduced by the Caterpie's Electroweb and spitting silk, Azurill managed to defeat the enemy by dodging the Ice Fang attack before adding an Aqua Jet.

"Lulli!"

Landing on top of the ground, Azurill gasped for breath as well.

Aisha hurriedly ran to its side and stuffed Azurill with a few Pokéblocks specialized in replenishing stamina.

He didn't dare to command the Caterpie to come forward and attack the entire time.

After all, the Caterpie had now turned into a Dragon and Flying attribute, and a quadruple-restrained Ice type move could directly kill it in seconds.

Looking at the Glalie that had lost its ability to fight, Aisha also couldn't help but frown - that weird feeling he had before entering the mountain path had actually come true.

"What the hell is going on?"

Vaguely, Aisha seemed to see a touch of black aura dissipating from above the Glalie's body.

"Can't it be that it's some kind of Ghost-type Pokémon at work?"

Combined with Glalie's soulless appearance just now, Aisha also launched some conjectures and hypotheses...

The sky above was still dripping with white snowflakes.

Aisha did not realize that a bizarre snow leopard stood on top of the mountain peak in the distance, watching himself.

"..."

Behind the snow leopard, several Pokémon with a demeanor similar to that of Glalie were standing over there, as if they were loyal guards waiting for its dispatch.
