Mr. Charles fiercely yelled his name, "Franklin." 


I touched my belly when I heard from Dad. No, I'm not going to let them do that. 


"Noo," Ivy said in disbelief. They both uttered this at the same time. I called him, "Dad." 


I looked up at him. He pushed me towards Mom, but he didn't even glance at me. Franklin said, "Tati, take her to the hospital." 


"Franklin, listen to me," mom began, but dad interrupted her in the middle of her sentence and added, "Just do as I say." 


Mr. Charles abruptly remarked, "Franklin, enough is enough."
