Frenda Seivelun. On the surface, she appears to be a blonde girl who doesn't fit the typical image of someone from this country. In reality, she does have Nordic heritage, but in Academy City, no one cares about bloodlines. What matters here is **esper abilities**.
Personal reality-based esper abilities determine a student's worth in this city. While Level 0s and low-level espers aren't worthless, they must study rigorously to at most become researchers.
Frenda, a student who disliked studying, knew diligence alone wouldn't protect her younger sister. In Academy City, students like them—unnoticed by anyone—were prime candidates for experiments.
Joining the dark side was a necessity.
"Oh, oh, yes, yes. I've arrived at the destination. The target is George Kingdom, right? Got it."
Frenda hung up and complained, "I was almost at the guy's house, and suddenly I get a mission. So annoying!"
「Item」 was now practically defunct. Of its four core members, two were recovering from injuries. Only Frenda, the sole active member, remained. The higher-ups, indifferent to her needs, treated the dark side as a disposable tool—especially for non-espers like her.
Originally, she'd planned to meet an online friend—rescheduled to today due to 「Item」's internal conflicts. The adults' advice to "trust fate" rang hollow. They clearly meant trusting **Hamazura Shiage**. Did they honestly believe Hamazura could defeat Mugino again?
"Better focus on the mission. I'll eat out tomorrow."
Frenda adjusted her mindset, sent an apology to her friend, and headed to her target.

**October 11th.** This day would be extraordinary, though **Kamijou Touma** had no idea why. He hadn't visited the hospital in a while—a rare feat. Despite his usual bad luck (his bank card had recently met its demise), he was accustomed to chaos.
But for two days, Kamijou had felt a headache brewing.
"Why are you still here, Stiyl?!" Kamijou complained.
The two-meter-tall **English Puritan Church** genius, Stiyl Magnus, lingered in Academy City. Though not staying in Kamijou's dorm, their paths kept crossing.
"Is that not allowed?" Stiyl replied.
"Wasn't the magician's problem resolved? Why are you still here?"
The young magician had left after extracting Index's memories, and silence followed. Kamijou doubted he'd cause further trouble.
Stiyl said, "There's another matter related to **「God's Right Seat」**."
"Why is it always them?!"
Kamijou had heard the name too often. **Vento of the Front** invaded Academy City on **September 30th**. Days ago, **Terra of the Left** was killed in Avignon. Now, the third member, **Aqua of the Back**, targeted Kamijou.
"**Aqua of the Back** sees you as the epicenter of global chaos."
"What? How could I, Kamijou Touma, cause worldwide chaos?"
"Haven't you been involved in incidents like the **Book of the Law** and the **Queen of the Adriatic**? You're the spark that ignites existing conflicts."
Stiyl's perspective, shaped by the scheming **Archbishop**, was pragmatic.
Kamijou's calm expression shattered as he stared at Stiyl—now shorter, with black hair, no facial tattoos, and altered features.
"**Angel Fall**?!" Kamijou gasped.

**October 11th.** The **Sisters** mobilized to attack Academy City's Gemstone research facilities. Simultaneously, the strongest Gemstone, **#7 esper Sogiita Gunha**, assaulted the city.
"Ollerus," a man once a step from becoming a **Magic God**, stood among unconscious Sisters in District 11.
"Are you satisfied attacking defenseless girls?" Sogiita Gunha confronted him.
"I have my reasons," Ollerus replied. "Academy City has collected fifty Gemstones. Researchers treat them as实验材料 (experimental materials). I'm here to send a message."
As Ollerus raised his hand, Sogiita's form shifted—a woman now stood before him.
"**Angel Fall**?" Ollerus muttered. "Looks like I've got another task."
"Hey! Don't look away during a fight!"
"Of course! That's my **guts**!"
The battle between Academy City's **#7 esper** and the near-**Magic God** began.
